The day for All Valley came much quicker than Elena would have thought. She and Miguel hadn't spoken since Demetri dropped him off but Elena wasn't mad at him. He misunderstood the situation and tried protecting her from some unknown guy.

He shouldn't have reacted the way he did but she wasn't mad at him. She loved him to much to be mad at him, of course. She just needed to talk to him about what happened to make sure he wasn't mad at her.

Adina and Elena walked over to their friends, Elena slightly nervous as she held onto Adina's arm. Miguel was fighting the air, "Yo, Miguel, calm down, man. Save some for the tournament."

He glanced over at Hawk, but continued to fight the air. Adina nudged Elena, she walked forward but stood still when Aisha stopped her, "Don't even bother. He's been in a mood all morning."

"I'll try later." Elena spoke as Hawk shrugged his shoulders, "Where's Sensei? The tournaments gonna start soon." The girls looked around for their Sensei, "He'll be here." Aisha spoke calmly.

Bert looked up, "I don't know about that." The group looked at him confused, "Bert, my son, what do you know?" Adina grabbed his shoulder gently.

"I saw him last night at the mini mall. I was buying a cartoon of milk.. when I heard him in the parking lot yelling. Peeing on his car and slammed his beer on the ground saying 'we were all gonna die'." Bert finished as they stared at him with wide eyes.

"Why the hell didn't you tell us earlier?" Bert shrugged at Aisha's question, "I don't know. I guess I'm used to seeing him drunk, it didn't seem like that big of a deal."

"Word." Elena agreed as she looked over at Miguel as they continued to argue over whether their Sensei was coming or not. Miguel looked at her, finally realizing she was there, "El-."

"Or he bought a gun and blew his brains out." Elena looked over at her friends hearing Hawks words, "That's a pussy move, he wouldn't kill himself. Remember his rant on depression being baloney."

"Well, we're here and he's not. We'll have to do it without him." Hawk shoved his hands in his pockets, "Do what without me?" They all turned in relief to see their Sensei, "Didn't think you were gonna show up."

Hawk admitted, Johnny shook his head, "I may not always win, but I never back out of a fight." He spoke as Miguel threw his arms up slightly, "Alright, let's sign up."

"No, not yet. There's one more lesson I have to teach you." They all looked at each other but didn't hesitate to follow their Sensei into the arena. Adina and Elena stood beside each other in a circle with the others.
