"how could you do this to me"

"You didn't lose the All Valley." The words of her once closest friend rang in Elena's head as a fed up Sam Larusso began to attack Tory Nichols. Elena stood silently, unsure how to process the information, she knew then and now that she didn't lose. The referee was a cheat, who had very obviously miscounted many of Elena's points until she fainted on the mat.

Tory should have been disqualified for the elbow punch to the eye, but Elena couldn't believe it still. All this time and only now were Tory and Adina here to confess the truth. Elena stared at her ex best friend in disbelief and hurt while a crowd began to form around them.

"Sam! Sam! Stop!" The words rang out of Elena's lips before she had time to process. "You knew all along that Silver cheated at the All Valley and you did nothing?! Elena could have died during that match! You get that right!" Sam shoved Tory bag in haste and anger.

"Sam!" Elena tried again but her call fell on deaf ears, Tory and Adina looked at her hopefully. "You don't know what it's like in there, what we had to go through. Elena-." Tory was cut off by the fast hits from Sam but she blocked them. "Larusso! Let her talk!" Adina argued, pushing Sam into Elena, covering a shaken Tory.

"My entire family has suffered because of yo-." Elena held Sam back while Miguel jumped in in front of them while Robby blocked Adina and Tory. "Sam! I know you're mad, okay, I am too, but please, stop." Sam nodded her head, though she still had flames in her eyes.

"They've been working with Kreese this whole time." Sam spoke out, Elena's face dropped, she hadn't heard that part, Kreese was her closest person at one point. And he didn't want her help, he wanted theirs? That didn't sound right but it was true. Kreese went to Tory and Adina but excluded Elena.

Miguel noticed Elena's face fall, he instinctively wrapped an arm around her. "Why did you guys only come forward now, huh?! Cause you're cowards." Sam shouted at the girl, her trauma and emotion shining through. "Sam!" Sam flinched back at the tone Elena took on, she turned to her old friends, attempting to talk.

"Screw you Larusso, I knew this was a mistake." Tory whispered out, her emotion in her eyes, Elena moved forwards but Adina and Tory quickly ran off. Sam going the opposite way. Elena stood in the middle, unsure what to do, but all of a sudden feeling sick to her stomach. "Adina!"

Adina didn't hear her, she didn't come back, Adina and Tory were once again gone as though slipping through Elena's fingers. Elena's heart sunk to her chest, "Lena-." Robby grabbed her hand but she pulled herself away, "I gotta get out of here." The girl quickly ran away in the same direction as Sam, ignoring both Miguel and Robby's calls for her to come back.

"Wait, so Sensei Silver paid off the referee at the All Valley and had Kreese framed for a crime he didn't even commit." Demetri asked after Sam gave the group a rundown of what Tory and Adina had said outside of the apartments. Elena was unusually quiet, mainly because she zoned out when most of this was said.
