"Weak! That's all you got, Diaz? I thought you were the All Valley champion!" Elena watched amused as Johnny dangled a women's magazine over Miguel's head on a fishing pole.

She looked at Miguel, who struggled to get up out of the wheelchair, attempting to grab the magazine but fell. "Damnit!" Johnny called as Elena ran over, "Miguel! Are you okay?" She asked as she and Johnny approached.

"Elena?" The two boys asked in unison as Johnny picked Miguel up and back into the wheelchair. "Yeah.. I ugh- my mom told me to bring this to Carmen.. so ugh. Yeah. I'll Ugh go now."

Elena went to walk around them but Johnny stopped her, "You two are being weird? What happened?" He looked between the two, who awkwardly avoided each others eyes.

"Ugh nothing. We just ugh we're on a break." Miguel spoke taking a glance at Elena, he could stare at her forever. Her hair got curlier and she'd grown much more into her figure. He admired her so Johnny smacked his chest.

"But you two obviously still like each other." Elena looked at Johnny with a glare, "Yeah, well we needed a break. We both feel like shit, so- is your apartment open?" She lifted up a gift bag, Miguel nodded.

"Yeah, mom should be in there." Elena nodded her head before heading over to Miguel's apartment, knocking but the door swung open. "Hey, Miss. Diaz!"

Carmen grinned seeing Elena, pulling the girl inside the apartment, "Hi, honey, what brings you by? Miguel's still outside, no?"Elena nodded her head.

"Yeah, but I came to give you this. My mom sent me here, she was going to bring it herself but she had to go into the office." Carmen nodded her head, "It's okay. Tell her I said thank you or you know what tell her I'll call later when she's done."

Carmen and Camilla had become very close in the past couple of weeks, Camilla liking to lather Carmen in her riches.

"Yeah, I should go, I have to meet a few friends but I'll stop by again." Elena hugged the older woman before heading back outside, nearly getting run over by Miguel.

"Oh sorry." He backed up as she stepped away from the door, "It's fine." She went to leave but he grabbed her hand, "We're okay, right?" Elena sighed, shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know."

He looked down again, "Look, Miguel, I'm not mad. We both decided to get a break. It's just weird.. we spent almost every day over the past year together and now.. nothing. We'll be okay though. I know we will."

Elena looked at Miguel with a sincere smile on her face, "I should go, though, I have to meet someone." He paused lifting his eyes to meet hers, "Someone." She swallowed her saliva, "Yeah, well like Tory, Dina and the others."
