Y/n is new at the school and therefor only has a small friendgroup that concists of three. Ny Oh and Sarah. She greets the two of them with a friendly "Hey!" and a hug. "Hey, Y/n! Anything planned for tonight?", Sarah asks. "No, not really, why?", Y/n answers. "Great, cause, Mitch, my boyfriend, invited me and you guys to their housparty." "How cool, I'm defo in! When? Where? I'm there!", Ny Oh expresses her excitement. "I'm in, too!", Y/n agrees and Sarah jumps up in joy. "Yay! How great! I'll text you the details later!"
Throughout the entire time in school Y/n thinks about what she should wear to the houseparty. In the lunchbreak the three of them plan some stuff together. "Ny Oh, are you planning on driving to Mitch's?", Y/n asks and Ny Oh just nods in response because her mouth is full. "Could you maybe come collect me? I still don't have my drivers licence. With the move and stress with my father I didn't really have the time to do it.", Y/n continues. "Sure, Sarah, you need a lift, too?", Ny Oh wants to know. "That would be great! Thanks! Oh and, before I forget, it's a christmas themed party, so wear a santa hat or something!", Sarah informes them. Just as she finishes the bell rings and the three of them say "See you later!" and head off to their classes.
As soon as Y/n gets home she runs upstairs and literally takes all of her clothes out of her closet and lays them out all over her bedroom. She finds three outfits that look kinda christmassy. It's a red loose, cropped sweater and a white pair of high waisted jeans. Y/n goes downstairs and gets greeted by her mother who has just come home from her shift. "That looks so pretty, hun, where are you going?", she asks. "Sarahs boyfriend is having a little get together with some friends and it's christmas themed!", Y/n answers and her mother runs upstairs. "Here! Take these, too!", her mum answers when she comes running down again and handing Y/n some reindeer antlers.
Just then the doorbell rings and Nny Oh and Sarah are standing there. "Bye, mum!", Y/n says walking out the door. "Have fun!", her mum wishes her just before the door slams shut. "Mitch just texted me, that Niji and Pauli are there already and the others are on their way so we should arrive ruffly at the same time.", Sarah tells them and putting the address into the navigation system. "And who are they?", Y/n asks trying not to laugh. "Two of his friends, they're really kind!", Ny Oh explains. A few minutes later the three of them arrive and walk towards the front door.
As soon as the door opens they hear extremely loud music. They walk towards the kitchen and each get themselves a drink. "Mitch!", Sarah yells trying to find her boyfriend. Just then he appears right behind her and hugs her. "Hello, baby!", he greets her and turns her around to face him. "Hey, babe! So, this is Y/n, and you already know Ny Oh! Y/n, this is my boyfriend, Mitch and that's Pauli and Niji!", Sarah introduces everyone. "Nice to finally meet you all!", Y/n expresses just as a nother two guys come walking in followed by two girls. "Hey, I'm Adam!", one of the boys greets Y/n. "Y/n! Nice to meet you!", Y/n replys. "That's Harry, that's Charlotte and I'm Elin!", Elin says.
It's getting kinda crowded in the kitchen. Y/n isn't the only one to notice. Mitch grabs Sarah's hand and pulls her away to go and dance. Elin, Charlotte, Niji and Pauli go into the livingroom and start dancing there aswell. "What the fuck!", Ny Oh screams when all of a sudden Adam spills his drink on her. She starts rubbing it hoping it gets better but it only gets worse which is why she disappears into the bathroom. "Should I help?", Y/n offers but Ny Oh replys with "No, it's fine!" Adam goes after her trying to appologize. That leaves Y/n and Harry alone.
"And then there were two!", Harry says and Y/n starts to giggle. "I guess so!", she agrees shyly. There's an akward silence because they both just met and don't know what to talk about. Until all of a sudden Y/n's favorite song comes on and she starts swaying back and forth in the kitchen. "Seems like you like this song!", Harry realises. "Yeah, I recently heard it on the radio and can't get it out of my head ever since!", Y/n answers. "Great to hear! I'm pretty proud of it...", Harry starts but before he can continue he gets interupted, "What?" "Uhm...", he starts again and scratches the back of his head. "How should I explain, uhmm, I... I'm in a band...", he continues. "You sing this? This is your song? Is that what your trying to say?", she interupts him again and Harry just nods in response. "Oh my fucking god! How did I not know that?" "Well, we kinda only met ten minutes ago!", Harry jokes. "Yeah, I know, but Sarah or Ny Oh or litterally anybody in school could have told me!" "Well, surprise, I guess!"
"Do you have a lot of songs? How long have you been in a band?", Y/n asks curiosly. "Well, we're working on our first album right now and we've been a band since the XFactor last year. Do you know that?", Harry answers. "Oh my god, I think I even watched it, I thought I recognised you!", Y/n laughs and Harry joins in. "You were really great!" "Thanks!" "Do you still work in the bakery?" "Yeah, actually I do!" "Really? Cool! Where are the others tonight?" "They had family things to go to, otherwise they would have come, too!" "It would have been nice to meet them, too!" "You will sooner or later!" "Do you have any other songs released yet that I might know?" "Nope, only released 'What Makes You Beautiful' up until now, but there's one more song we're gonna release just before we release our album!", Harry explains.
"Can't wait to hear them, if there as good as this song then I'm a hundred percent sure I'll love them!", Y/n states convincingly. "That's great! I really hope you do!", Harry says with a smile on his face. "You seem really cool!" "Thanks, I guess? You, too, though!" "Thanks!" "Y/n!", Ny Oh shouts into the kitchen. "Come in here! You're missing the whole party!", Sarah adds. "Coming!", Y/n yells back and turns to Harry. "You coming?" "Yeah!" The two of them walk into the livingroom to find Elin and Charlotte dancing on the sofa.
"Where were you two?", Sarah asks. "Making out in the kitchen! What did you think?", Harry replys and we both start laughing. "We were getting to know each other! How did you not think of telling me he's in a band?" "Oops, I must have forgotten!"
