The obnoxious sound of my phone ringing pulls me from my sleep

The obnoxious sound of my phone ringing pulls me from my sleep.

Rolling over, I check my phone to see that it's only Spencer calling. I click the lock button, sending her through. She can wait. It's 7:00, I can't socialize this early.

Laying back onto my stomach, my phone starts ringing again before I can even get comfortable. Covering my head with my pillow, I try to drown out the noise. When that doesn't work, I stick my hand out blindly to put her through once more and mute my phone.

Silence. Finally.

I stare at the phone for a few seconds making sure she isn't going to call again. Sighing with relief, I relax back into the bed. Next thing I know, the whole bed is vibrating. "For fuck's sake." I mumble under my breath, slamming my hand down by my side. Grabbing my phone, I raise it to my ear.

"What Spencer?!" I answer abruptly. "What could you possibly need?"

"Open the damn door. I left my key at home." She explains.

"Wh-" The phone beeps, signaling she ended the call. Is she fucking kidding me?

"Ugh!" I groan, throwing the covers off of me and stomping down the stairs. Unlocking the door, I whip the door open to see two of my sisters with huge smiles on their faces.

"Hi brother!" Spencer chirps. "How are you doing on this fine morning?" Cleo nudges her telling her to leave me alone, knowing I'm not in the mood. This is why Cleo is my favorite.

The frown on my face remains. "What the hell are y'all doing here so early?" I open the door further allowing them to walk in.

"We wanted to cook breakfast for Bennie and send her off to daycare. Cleo has a half day at school today, so early was the only choice." Spencer explains while walking into the kitchen to start rummaging through my fridge.

"I made her cupcakes!" Cleo speaks up from behind us, setting the tupperware bin on the counter.

"I'm sure she'll love that, Cleo." I hold one arm out for her. She falls into my side, hugging her arms around my waist. I press a kiss to the top of her head before looking back up to Spencer. She already has the skillet out, ready to start cooking. "Spence, I don't take her until 10:30. Surely, you could have waited a few more hours before waking me up."

"I tried to tell her, H." Cleo whispers from my side. "She wouldn't listen."

"Well, I needed time to cook. I can't snap my fingers and it magically make itself." She says smartly. "And, I thought you were the smart one."

"Whatever, I'm not even going to argue with you right now. Just try to be quiet. Ben's still sleeping." I instruct walking into the living room and Cleo stays in the kitchen with Spencer.
