"Bennie! C'mon baby, we've got to go

"Bennie! C'mon baby, we've got to go. Grab Coco, so we can leave." I raise my voice, so she can hear me from upstairs.

These past two years have been the best years of my life. I owe it all to my Ben. She's totally flipped my life around. I fully believe I would not be here if it wasn't for her.

If there is one thing I've learned about Bennett, it's that we are polar opposites. I'm an introvert. She's an extrovert. I'm more laid back. She is super energetic.

Did I mention she's a little daredevil? I swear the kid doesn't have an ounce of fear in her body. My eyes have to always be on her or the next thing I know she'll be jumping off tables, chairs, counters, you name it.

It also doesn't help that she inherited my clumsiness.

Her daredevil nature and her clumsiness are exactly why we are headed to the doctor's office right now.

"I go down the pole, Daddy." She states, staring down at me.

"No ma'am! You go down the stairs." I say sternly, looking up at Ben who is standing extremely close to the edge. Preparing for the worst, I have my hands out ready to catch her just incase.

"But, you go down it."

"I'm bigger than you, Ben. You know you can only go down it with me. Get your butt down the stairs, now." I say a little harsh, knowing it's the only way she'll listen.

"Finally met your match, Styles?" Mitch pipes in from behind me.

I flip him off over my shoulder, then Bennett appears coming down the stairwell.

Dragging her feet the whole way over to me, she pokes her bottom lip out. "I two." She holds up three fingers, making everyone in the room laugh. "I big, Daddy."

"You are the biggest baby I know." Mitch teases from behind me, trying to rile Bennett up.

If looks could kill, Mitch was definitely be dead right now. With her eyes narrowed, she throws her fists up in front of her face just like she's seen me do at the gym.

Without warning, she takes off running, well toddling, to Mitch ready to attack.

Before she can get a punch in, Mitch is scooping her up and throwing her over his shoulder. The sweetest giggles fill the room.  "Mitchie. Put. Me. Down." She begs, her arms and legs flailing around.

My alarm goes off telling me we've got to go or we will be extremely late to her appointment. "Time to go, baby." Mitch sets her free allowing her to jump into my arms.

Crouching down, I pick up CoCo off the ground, handing it to her. CoCo is the stuffed koala my sisters bought her for her first birthday. Ben will not go anywhere without it. Literally. I finally got her out of the habit of taking it in the bath with her. Now, it just sits on the counter instead of in the water, which is a score to me.
