"Are you sure about this? You know you could die from this... right?"
He took a deep breath and let his head hang low as he thought about the doctor's words.
"Yes, I know... but I'll do anything for him, even if it means I'll die"

For the rest of the day, Jay was extra careful around Sunghoon. Even though Sunghoon had assured him over and over again that he was fine, Jay wouldn't let up. In the end, Sunghoon reluctantly agreed to let Jungwon stay with him in his apartment.
Jay walked Sunghoon back to his apartment and stayed until Jungwon arrived. Once the younger had come in, Jay didn't forget to scold Sunghoon like a child.
"Now make sure you take care of yourself, drink lots of water and eat healthily. Jungwon, take care of him for me please?"
Jungwon nodded
"Of course. Jay hyung, mind explaining what happened?"
"Sunghoon started coughing out of nowhere. He was coughing for like a whole minute, like a dying kind of coughing."
Jungwon tensed up a bit hearing Sunghoon's situation but listened well to what Jay was telling him.
"I took care of him during classes and on the way home. Other than being barely able to walk, he seems to be fine. I'm placing my trust in you alright? Don't let him die on you."
"Jay I'm not dying yet, I still have to beat you up before I go"
Jay snorted and rolled his eyes
"Take care of him, Jungwon. I have to head home now, bye you two!!"
Jungwon waved Jay farewell while Sunghoon huffed, upset that Jay was treating him like a sick baby. The door shut and Jungwon went to lock the door before returning to sit beside Sunghoon.
"Are you going to baby me like Jay did?"
Jungwon chuckled and shook his head.
"No, I just want to hang out like we normally do I guess"
Sunghoon chuckled and took Jungwon's hand, pulling him down to sit on the couch beside him. Although both were not the kind of people to initiate physical touch, that's not to say they didn't appreciate it. Sunghoon pulled Jungwon closer and the younger rested his head on Sunghoon's shoulder.
"Hyung, are you okay?"
"Yeah 'm fine. Just getting comfy"
Jungwon laughed and relaxed against Sunghoon, enjoying the warmth. The two of them stayed like that until dinner approached, during which Jungwon called his mom to assist in cooking. Meanwhile, Sunghoon sat on the couch staring into blank space.
