"Are you sure about this? You know you could die from this... right?"
He took a deep breath and let his head hang low as he thought about the doctor's words.
"Yes, I know... but I'll do anything for him, even if it means I'll die"

"So your condition is fine, you just have to rest for another day and then you'll be discharged."
Sunghoon smiled and nodded while Doctor Choi checked the machine one last time. Sunghoon bowed slightly to her as she left and a familiar tuft of pink hair poked in.
"May I come in?"
Sunghoon nodded and Sunoo walked in, closing the door behind him. Sunghoon shifted a bit and made a tiny bit of space on the bed so that Sunoo could sit. Once Sunoo was seated comfortably, Sunghoon fluffed the blanket over his lap and held the younger's hand.
"So what did Doctor Choi say?"
"She said I needed another day before leaving"
Sunoo hummed and leaned into Sunghoon's side. After the kiss yesterday, the two boys hadn't spoken to each other since then. It hadn't become awkward, if anything they had gotten closer. It was as if they had begun dating even when neither of them had officially asked.
Sunghoon turned his head to look at Sunoo and the small movement caught Sunoo's attention. It resulted in the two boys holding eye contact for a few moments. Sunghoon felt heat rising up to his cheeks and Sunoo found the courage in himself the push himself up that tiny bit more so that their lips could touch.
They kissed for not much longer than they did the previous time they had kissed. The feeling it carried was the same as both boys ended up with flushed cheeks and red ears. Sunghoon raised his hand the rest against Sunoo's cheek, the younger male almost nuzzling into his palm.
"Sunoo-ah, would you like to be my boyfriend?"
Sunoo giggled and hit Sunghoon on the shoulder lightly.
"Yes of course I'll be your boyfriend"
The older let out a sigh of relief and pulled Sunoo closer. The younger let his head rest on Sunghoon's chest and the older took a deep breath.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to say that to you..."
"Well now you said it and we're both happy"
Sunghoon smiled and brushed his hand through Sunoo's hair. Tugging against the knots to untangle the strands of hair. Sunoo focused on his breathing and slowly dozed off. He found the feeling of Sunghoon's hand combing through his hair comforting.
