Vampire queen

Chapter 2

"Hello, what can I get for you?" I ask the person. Even as I make the subs for people all I can think about is, maybe it is this person. I want to know who this possible vampire lord is. I look up to help the next person to find out that I recognized this person. It was Dr. Wickerson. "Hello, what can I get you?" I ask him. I start to make the sub he orders. "So, how is the search for the vampire lord going?" I ask him. He looked perplexed. Then he nodded as though he remembered me. " You are the girl who asked me all the questions. I remember you. Yes, we have found the vampire lord." he answered. "Really? Who is it? Do I possibly know the person?" I ask. He smiled at me. "That information is confidential." Is all he says as he finishes paying for his sub. I possibly know this person.

    The next day the school had all the students gather in the gym for an assembly. "What is this loser doing here again?" Kyle asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. I have no idea what he is doing back here. "I don't know but he told me yesterday that he found the vampire lord, so maybe the vampire lord goes to this school." I said as I try to put things together in my head. Who here could possibly be the vampire lord?

    "Good morning students. Sorry to interrupt your morning. I am Dr. Wickerson and I am a scientist. I study the history of vampires. Yes, what a way to waste my life. Funny thing is though that we have found what we have been looking for in this school." I could head whispers erupt from the crowd. "Yeah, right." Kyle whispers in my ear. I couldn't stop looking at Dr. Wickerson. Is he going to tell us who it is? I need to know. I watched him as he pointed at his assistant and nodded. She hit the breaker switches and all the lights shut off. Everyone turned on the flashlights on their phones. It still wasn't that bright. People started to scurry around in fright. I gripped onto Kyle's shirt. I tried to look around but my eyes haven't adjusted yet. Students still run out the doors in fear. "Okay, lets get out of here." Kyle says as he slowly gets up. I loosen my grip on his arm. His hand finds mine and he leads me out.

    I feel a sharp sting in my neck. My body feels like pins and needles. "Kyle." I say quietly. My body went limp. Kyle caught me before I hit the ground. "What the hell." Kyle says as he try's to shake me awake. He puts one arm under my legs and the other behind my back. He slowly lifted me from the ground. "I have to get you out of here." he says. "Where do you think you are taking our property?" Dr. Wickersons asked. Kyle laughed. "Your property? She is a human not and object." I could hear Dr. Wickerson step closer to Kyle. "No, you see. She is the one we have been looking for. So, if you do not mind you will hand her over to us." Dr. Wickerson said. I felt Kyle step back. "No, I won't give her to you. She can't possibly be the one you are looking for." Kyle says. That is the last thing I heard before I hit the ground.
