KNOCK KNOCK
"Hello? Excuse me. I was wondering if anybody's home?" Lycia asks as she rapped on the door a couple of times.
Just to recap, the trio is now in the middle of an elf village. Here and there, they can see elves and nymphs working together peacefully. Whether it's to chop woods, bake goods, sell garments they all look so peaceful. Though each one of them are unique, it's still rather easy to distinguish them from the other magical creatures. Their hair colors are always some shade of green or brown and their horns looks like a pair of branches is sticked permanently to their heads. Right now, they're visiting one of Lycia's acquaintance for they needed her help in getting some steeds to cover the ground fast and reach The Temple of Eclipse on time. Suddenly the door opened and a kind face met their eyes.
"Your highness, sorceress Lycia Belmont! I am honored to see your presence, honored indeed. The sorceress in my doorstep really." The lady bent so low her nose is close to touch the ground.
Embarrassed and flustered, Lycia helped the lady stood up. It seems like she didn't really enjoy or is interested the amounts of recognition and fame she gets from time to time. "Gwen! You know you didn't have to stoop so low!"
"It's a habit your highness." Gwen smiled as she tucked a stray hair behind her ear.
"Guys, meet Gwen Fowler. She's been taking care of unicorns with her brother all her life. I just thought that since she's so expert, she can provide us with some high stamina steeds."
Gwen Fowler is a tall girl with a fair complexion. Her hair's a beautiful shade of light chestnut and cut in a fuzzer bob haircut. Her attire's simply modest. She wears a short sleeved shirt under her green apron. The apron is rather tall since it covers from her chest until just below her knees. And she's wearing a knee length emerald green skirt that matches her apron.
"Hi Gwen. How nice to see you." Louise and Cyane said in unison as they too bow for respect.
Suddenly Gwen's eyes lit up again as she spotted Cyane amongst the trio. "Oh my gosh! The daughter of King Poseidon is at my doorstep! Oh such a lucky woman I am!" Gwen began to stoop her lowest once again.
"Gwen!" Cyane began to panicked and stopped her midway. "No, Gwen. This is not necessary. I prefer it if you treated us like, well, commoners."
"Commoners?! The great sorceress and princess siren to be treated as commoners?! Tch, never." Gwen rejected confidently.
"Gwen, come on. We have received our fair share of fame and recognition. And right now we just want to take a break from it all." Lycia explained.
"Yeah, exactly. It's just so rare for someone to see you without suddenly getting down on their knees or stoop so low their nose can touch the ground. We just want to feel being treated...normally. Like a commoner, you know." Cyane explained further.
"I see. Well I shall commence your decree immediately though the thought of treating princesses as commoners are out of the question, I'll do my best."
"Thanks, Gwen." Lycia thanked her.
"And, uh, who's this?" Gwen pointed at Louise.
"Hi, Gwen. I uhm, my name's Louise Walker. A traveller who came by Lycia and Cyane. We're friends now." Louise introduced himself briefly.
"Aah I see. A friend of two girls. All of which are royalty. Any hidden motives, stranger?" Gwen asks suspicious.
"What?! No! I wouldn't dare." Louise spluttered.
"Very well. Come in, come in. I'll treat you with some tea and introduce you to my brother." Gwen opened the door for them.
"Wait, Gwen. You had a brother?!" Cyane stopped dead in her tracks.
