I change into the suit and am surprised about how nice I look. The dark gray is calming and smooth but lightly textured, like stone.
"HEY GAYS! WE DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!" Biana shouts and I open the door and do a little spin so Biana can see the suit from all angles. Keefe also opens the door and does a dance before literally prancing towards Bi and I.
"Tam, you look cute, but also extremely business like. It's definitely fit for a job interview. Keefe, yours is stunning. The color really brings attention to your hair too. Nice one you too. Put them to the right, that's your keep pile. Left is the return pile." She claps her hands loudly and says, "Shoo! We don't have all day, you dumbasses!"
Next item is: A cream colored suit paired with white ankle boots. I slip them on and notice the boots are actually white with light brown blended on the bottom sides. My reflection looks pretty, so I step out into the open room.
Biana looks me up and down, and crosses her arms. "Sorry, but I think that's a no. The suit is literally almost your skin color. To the left! Now, keep the black suit, grays and the deep blue," she shoos me away to the bathroom after giving me a full bag from Formality and Practicality.
The bag has a silver dress that melts into an icy blue. There's also a pair of shimmery diamond colored stilettos. I sighed but slip on the dress. It fits my figure perfectly and put the shoes on as well. Since I've worn Linh's heels before, I can walk in them effortlessly.
Once I leave the bathroom, my dress is on and reaches my knees, and the heels look great, not like I'd ever tell Biana. She squeals and smiles.
"Keefe! Come out, I'm sure you look stunning as well!" Biana calls, and Keefe comes, looking hot as the flames of hell. His dress is skintight, and it's a pretty light gold color that has flecks of red and pink towards the bottom. His heels aren't as narrow as mine, but he struggles to stay on feet with every step.
"How do you walk in these, Tammy?" He whines, and trips, falling into my arms. I catch him, and he's blushing, and I'm sure my face is redder than Sophie's whenever Biana smiles. "Thanks..." He mumbles into my neck, where he somehow landed on.
"Tam! That right there is a keeper! I expect you to wear that at your Tribunal, and same with you Keefe! Those dresses scream 'I'M GAY, BITCH!' so you need to wear them in front of the Council's dumb asses." She demands the first part and then switches to a proud tone. How that mood swing happened, I'll never know.
"Wait, this is the dress that you made me put back! Did you get after I left with your Sophie haul?" He gasped, as if Biana had betrayed him horribly.
"Yeah, and your dress was also in the 'Sophie haul'. I hope you know that quite a few of those things are for you two lovebirds." She smirked and then gave us both four Comfort and Style bags, this time from the other. "All of the clothes are here, and I have the special bag with me that you'll see at the end. Now go change, and don't come back until you find something you like, otherwise we can return it." She pulled out a nail file as I walked away, ready to try on some comfortable clothes.
From bag number one, I found a crop top with red roses on it, baggy jeans and an oversized hoodie. I put them all on, and loved it. I walked out and Biana's eyes widened, and she said one word:
"Keeper."
"Glad you like it too. I'm definitely wearing this tomorrow."
Keefe walked out and he was wearing a cropped white button up with dark blue jeans. The outfit looked casual but cute. He smirked, looking at my outfit too. I blushed.
"That's a cute outfit, Bangs Boy. The jeans suit you."
"I could say the same with yours. The shirt is hot, I knew it would suit you."
"We get it, you're in love and you're hot! Now, Linh is here, and didn't even say hi, Tam!" Biana cut in and I whipped around and hugged Linh, who was wearing a simple tunic and shorts. Her hair was in a loose ponytail, with a few stands out.
"Are you coming to the Tribunal tonight? We have one at 6, because apparently we're not allowed to be gay." Linh nodded, and went up to Keefe, giving him a hug too.
"I know, Bi just told me, and you deffo wear dresses, she just told me you got some. Marella and I are keeping ourselves super secret, hardly anyone outside of our friend group." Linh says it quietly, as if afraid that someone's listening.
Biana sighs and looks at her watch, gasping. "Look, it's 5:30, we need you two to throw on those dresses and slay. I'll do your makeup soon, just come to Everglen in 10." Biana took Linh's hand, held up her home crystal to the light and leaped away.
"Let's go change?" My voice sounded excited, not gonna to lie, I like that dress. I'm not wearing anything else either, because a shady bitch never gets cold. I walk into the bathroom and change. My heels are on my feet in seconds, and I brush my hair and leave the room, sitting on the bed. Keefe comes out a minute later and we both leap to Everglen.
In Biana's room, we are immediately taken hostage by the girls and we sit down in fluffy pink chairs. Linh grabs a gray eyeliner but I stop her.
"No, I'll do this. I do this nearly every day." My hands skillfully do the makeup, and the mirror helps me, as it shows me where I messed up. Once I'm done, I look really emo, but it's fine. That was the goal.
"Nice, now let's go. Linh and I are ready, don't worry." Biana states it confidently and we leap to Tribunal Hall. Keefe and I go gay towards (get it, because we're gay?) our seats. Neither of us are nervous, we know that we'll be fine, after all, we'll have each other. Sophie really helped with making a defense for us, so we're more than ready for this.
"This Tribunal is in session," Councillor Emery's voice booms across the space, and I'm sure all of my friends and their families heard him. Several dozen heads swerved in his direction, ready for the Tribunal that they have barely heard about.
You may be wondering why they turned up in dresses, but they look fierce, don't worry! I hope you liked the dresses and the next chapter is the Tribunal!
