The dares got more and more hilarious, and at midnight, we were all dressed in black and running around, laughing. I dared all of us to go cover Bronte's castle in rainbow glitter, and then cover Emery's in brightly colored dyes and throw stinksap around all twelve of the castles in a ring. Our hair was dyed and our appearances drastically different, so they wouldn't know that it was us.
"Next dare! We're going to Foxfire and we're going paint the floor rainbow and glittery. I already have eighty gallons of each color in the basement. I also have paint thinner and dozens of rollers. Let's go?" The blonde smirked as we all said 'Yes!' and we found a cart for the paint supplies.
At Foxfire, we decided to split up. I was doing Levels one and two, Keefe was doing three and four, Linh covered five and six, and Biana was working on the Elite Levels. We were up for five hours painting, and at 5 A.M the entirety of Foxfire was covered in rainbows and glitter.
"Let's go raid the Mentor kitchen, I desperately need pastries and seven shots of espresso, preferably with fizzleberry wine." I dragged my feet, exhausted by all the painting. Within two minutes, a huge cup of coffee was in front of me.
"Here comes the drinks! Make me forget tonight, but let all of the Lost fucking Cities see every single prank we've pulled." I toasted and we clicked glasses, downing the spiked coffee in moments.
"I'm going to write a note, declaring this as our final prank for the century, Tammybae!" Keefe scrawled out a note that said:
Goodbye, my friends! Here's something to remember me by, and I hope you enjoy our prank of the century!
I smiled, glad for some normalcy in this insane situation. Eleven hours ago we were told that we were banished, but now we're drinking to our hard work and last prank for a long time.
"Let's go home, please! I need to sleep for the next day," I complained, tired and not caring that I just had seven shots of espresso and wine.
"You just had espresso and wine. I highly doubt you'll be able to sleep." Keefe crossed his arm, but despite our doubts of sleep, we till went home, or at least temporary home. It still felt weird calling Candleshade home too, it was home to Keefe's trauma mainly, so it was strange.
At home, I flopped onto bed after changing into my hoodie and shorts. Keefe and Linh flopped onto the massive bed next, with Biana landing on all of us, making a sleepy friend pile.
At noon, after seven hours of rest, I was awoken from my peaceful dreams by Biana. I went into my daily routine and started my skincare as Bi started talking a bit.
"We're going to pack your and Keefe's things, and then we're moving in with you. The Council found out our whole friend group is LGBT+, so now we're living in the same neighborhood together. Fitz, Dex, Sophie and Marella were pardoned, because they're too important to banish, so we're going." Biana dropped the bombshell on me way too quickly, and so I dropped my lotion in response.
"Can I have a list of people?"
"Yeah! Keefe, you, me, Linh, and Wylie."
"Wylie?"
"Yeah, he's coming mainly because we need supervision and he decided to. He needs to look after us, and we're all friends. He'd definitely miss us, especially you and Linh is we left."
Biana and I walked downstairs, and I got all of the information, so I was ready to eat and socialize. Keefe's outfit was hot, he was wearing the white button up and dark blue jeans I got him, and his hair was styled as usual. I was wearing a light gray hoodie with sweatpants. My hair was flat and smooth, the silver fading, but I brought some material to dye it again next week.
