I hate Mondays.

And this Monday already feels like it's going to be a shit day.

I can't help but tap my fingers against the wooden table in English class, meanwhile looking at the classroom door as piles of students walk in. Will Easton actually turn up today?

When students take their seats and class begins, I finally relax. I guess that jerk chose to skip another day. No surprise there, though I can't help but wonder what he does when he doesn't come to class.

"Take out your books, everyone and take notes. They'll be important..." She didn't get another word out when the class door opened, and my eyes snapped to the guy walking through.

Easton walked through the door, wearing a white shirt and jeans that he looked so good in I thought I was going to drool. The skin of his arms was golden and through the short sleeves of his white shirt, I could see the tattoo on his arm. It looked like a feather of some kind but I couldn't see that much from here. He didn't speak a word as he walked through the room and took his seat beside me. I could feel him staring at the side of my face the whole time but I refused to meet his gaze.

Miss Rindle carried on like she wasn't just rudely interrupted and I saw from the corner of my eye, Easton relax into his seat. He wasn't paying attention though, he was looking at me. My body flushed and when I looked at him, there was no emotion there that I could pick up on.

He was so gorgeous and I hated him for it.

I couldn't handle him staring at me like that for much longer and asked, "Why are you staring at me?"

"Because you won't stop tapping your fingers and it's getting on my nerves," He said smoothly. There was no hint of annoyance on his face either, considering he said my tapping was getting on his nerves.

I looked down at my fingers and immediately realised I had been doing it the whole time. Fuck, now he knew how nervous he made me. My face flushed and I looked at the teacher, trying to act like he didn't bother me.

He was still staring at me and nervousness was no longer a problem. Instead, he was annoying me now, too.

I snapped, keeping my voice low, "What now?"

I wasn't prepared for him to smile and it did things to my body against my will. His eyes burned into me, darker than his normal green, they almost looked completely black. "Do I make you nervous?"

I scowled, "No." Such a complete lie. It felt unnatural on my tongue, but I wasn't giving him the satisfaction of thinking he affected me.

He scooted closer and my whole body went rigid. What the fuck was he doing? I instinctively moved closer to the window right up until my back was pressed against the cool glass. I could feel it through my thin shirt and it brought some relief to my flushed skin. Easton moved closer until I felt his breath on my mouth and I screamed in my head to shove him away but I couldn't move.
