TREVOR
It's been a week since Summer and I hooked up, yet every time I close my eyes I still see her lips wrapped around me, her small perky tits bouncing, her moans and dirty whimpers filling my ears.
Someone pokes my arm and says my name, "Trevor?"
"Sorry," I look over at Ellie who's standing bedside me.
"Can you get me a bowl from behind you?" Ellie asks sweetly. She's wearing one of Alex's USC hockey shirts and it sits just above her knees.
Damn it, now I'm imagining Summer in one of my shirts, her strawberry hair a little messy from a fun night.
"Yeah," I stand up from the counter, and turn to grab a bowl for her.
"What were you day dreaming about?" Ellie asks as I hand her a bowl.
"Nothin," I turn back to the eggs I have cooking on the stove that some how haven't burned yet. I turn the stove off.
"You sure? I asked you four times before I had to poke you out of your trance," she hums while she starts filling the bowl with cereal.
"Actually," I turn around to see her, "Maybe you can help me."
She's pouring the milk on top of the cereal, "Hit me." She grabs a spoon and moves to sit at our dining room table.
"There's this girl," I start, being careful of my word choice. I start plateing my food as I talk, "We were friends and then we hooked up. Consensually!" I quickly add in the last part.
Ellie laughs.
"But now I think I like her even more."
"Wait," Ellie holds up her hand, "You liked her before you had sex?"
I nod, "But I didn't know how to tell her because I have no clue what this girl is ever thinking."
"Ask her," Ellie says as if it's the easiest thing ever.
"But I don't want to over whelm her, she's a busy person, I don't want to feel like I'm just another thing on her to do list," I admit as I turn to the fridge to pull out a few more things.
"Well," Ellie hums almost like she knows who I'm talking about but there's no way she knows. Alex wouldn't break my trust like that, bro code.
A second later she continues, "I think if you really like this girl and if she truly likes you she'll do whatever to try and make it work."
"Okay but what if she just wants sex?" I feel like I'm talking to a doctor or something.
"Would you be okay with that?"
"I don't know," I sigh topping the eggs with cheese and salsa.
"Well I think you need to sort out your own feelings before you drag her into this," Ellie shrugs, placing a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.
"What are you two talking about?" Alex walks in, shirtless, his hair is messy, very subtle.
"Trevy here is having some girl problems," Ellie points her spoon at me.
"Still that girl from last week?" Alex asks, there's a knowing tone in his voice.
"Yeah," I open a yogurt cup and put it on my plate.
"What is it about this girl, dude?" Alex asks as he starts putting together his own bowl of cereal.
"I don't know," I sigh, picking up my plate.
"There's gotta be something," Ellie points her spoon at me.
I sit down at the table across from Ellie, "She's funny without trying, she's so fucking beautiful, she's got this confidence that isn't like cocky but like she knows she's the shit and she is," I push my hands through my hair, "And she agreed to help me with a situation that she fully did not need to, but she did and it honestly was one of the best days I've had in a very long time."
"Bro," Alex pats me on the shoulder as he comes to join us at the table, "Just tell her how you feel."
"What am I supposed to do just show up at her place and confess whatever these feelings are?"
Ellie gasps, "Yes! That would be the most romantic thing ever!"
Alex nods beside her as he chews.
"She's probably thinking the same thing right now," Ellie adds.
"I highly doubt it," I mumble stuffing my mouth full.
SUMMER
I'm sitting on the couch working on homework when Ellie comes home from Alex's.
"Hey," I hum as she sits down on the couch next to me.
"You'll never believe what Trevor said today," she starts.
"Mhm?" I'm still starting at my computer screen but I'm not typing anymore.
"Evidently Mr. Chill is freaking out over some girl and has been for weeks! He asked for advice on what to do because he doesn't know how this girl feels," she's speaking so fast it's hard to keep up but it's starting to click in my brain, "But Alex told me after that he's been crushing on this girl for months! They were just friends and then they had sex. And Trevor said he thought maybe it was just lust he felt for the girl, but after they did it he knew it wasn't because he still had these feelings even after."
He has feelings? The thought of that makes me excited and scared at the same time.
"If you were that girl you would want to know how he felt, right?" Ellie looks over at me.
I shrug, looking up at her, "I don't know."
"Why wouldn't you want to know?"
"Because feelings are complicated."
"But without them life would be boring!"
"That's for damn sure," I close my laptop, "I have to get to bed," then I lift myself off the couch. "Goodnight!" I wave to Ellie as I head into my room.
"Goodnight!
