I smiled out at the crowd one last time before exiting the stage. I ran up and hugged James."You killed it babe!" He said, "I'm so proud of you!"
Walker was wide awake, due to the time difference.
"Momma I love Korea! It's night and I'm not sleepy at all!" He said, proudly.
I laughed and high fived him.
"So, do I have time to stagedoor?" I asked.
"Afraid not babe, we have to leave in 15 minutes."
"Darn."
"Who says darn?" James asked, laughing.
"People with 5 year olds." I replied.
James smiled and hugged me.
"God I'm so proud of you."I giggled and hugged him back. "You already said that."
"And I will keep saying it."
I kissed him quickly and picked up Walker.
"Alright, Walk it's time to go."
"Okay mommy." He said, as he rubbed his eyes.
"Hey what happened to being wide awake?"
"Well, me and James played a lot and I got sleepy. We played dinosaurs, trucks, and James even did karate!"
James blushed and I smirked at him.
"Really? My James was doing karate?" I asked.
"Yes! He was awesome!" Walker said, smiling sleepily.
"Well, I'll have to get him to show me some moves then, huh?"
"In my defense, he asked me too!" James protested.
I giggled and we all left for the airport.
(Time skip 😩)
I smiled as I walked into the theatre. I was finally back in London! I missed it so much! I lived here for 5 months while I was in Wicked and I fell in love. I walked backstage with James and Walker and I bumped into someone.
"Excuse me, I wasn't payin- Derek?"
When I was in Wicked Derek was my best friend, he was the stage manager and I honestly had a huge crush on him at the time.
"Idina! Oh my Gosh it's been years!" He said and hugged me.
"Are you working here?" I asked.
"Yes, you're singing here today, right?"
"Yes! Are you attending?"
"No, but I'll be working here so I'll hear you."
"Oh! Derek this is my husband, James and my son Walker!"
"Hi Derek!" Walker said, cheerfully.
James smiled and shook his hand.
"Wow, you have quite a grip." Derek said.
James half smiled and put his arm around me.
"Well, I'd love to catch up with you but I have to go warm up. It was great seeing you!" I said, hugging him once more.
"You too! Break a leg!" He said as he walked off.
"I don't like him." James said, pulling me close.
"What? Why?" I asked.
"Well, he- he seems too nice, and he's too good looking."
I smiled stood in front of James.
"You're jealous, aren't you."
