"Loving you was my greatest mistake, but I don't regret it." Aisha said internally.
Alone in a grimy corner, Aisha sat curled up, hugging her knees tightly. Her body shook with sadness and helplessness, tears streaming down her face.
Puffy eyes desperately sought comfort in the midst of her suffering. Visible signs of her pain were evident - blue and purple marks adorned her forehead, cheeks, and knees. Wounds bled, and there was blood on her lips and the fabric of her sky blue saree, now soaked in dirt, revealing the vulnerability of her state.
Abhirudra loomed in front of her, his imposing figure contrasting with her small frame.
He appeared powerful and intimidating, seemingly unaffected by her cries. His expression was dark, sending a chill down anyone's spine.
A burning cigarette dangled from his right hand, its smoke creating a blurry atmosphere. In his left hand, a lighter was tightly gripped, its flame flickering ominously.
Aisha gazed up at him, red-eyed and tearful. She spoke softly, "Please, let me go. What do you want from me now?"
Abhirudra initially sneered at her pleas, but as she continued, desperation evident in her voice, "You've already taken everything that was important to me. Please, just leave me alone," he couldn't help but notice the sincerity in her cries. Her tears were uncontrollable; emotions overwhelmed her.
Aisha's heartbreaking words seemed to crack the tough exterior of Abhirudra. His cold and frightening demeanor softened, revealing a glimpse of tenderness in his eyes.
As his hand reached out towards her, a voice echoed in his mind, warning him, "What are you doing? Are you crazy? Don't show any weakness."
His hand, suspended in the air, froze. Closing his eyes, he pressed his lips tightly, clenching his fist. Unpleasant memories flooded his mind, leaving him torn and conflicted.
Resolute in his decision, he opened his eyes again, anger now shining red, his face displaying a mix of sadness, hate, and disgust.
His rough hands moved towards her bruised cheeks, forcefully grabbing her delicate skin. Locked in a gaze with her amber eyes filled with indescribable emotions, he conveyed his internal struggle.
Aisha let out a scream of pain, desperately trying to free herself from his grip, her soft hands pleading with him, but he remained indifferent, saying, "How many times do I have to tell you? Stay quiet. I'm annoyed."
His words fell on deaf ears as Aisha focused solely on trying to release his tight hold on her jaw, the pain unbearable and discomfort evident on her face.
