chapter 11: training

Sunday early afternoon

Kazz's POV

I was in my living room finishing my lunch as i was getting excited to see a dojo for the first time in person! i couldn't wait to see what it looked like in the inside. question was...where was it? how was i going to meet the other girls? then as if on cue, my phone buzzed as i check to see i got a text from Monika.

"hey Kazz you awake?"

"course i am just finished my lunch." i replied.

"good good. ill send my address so you can meet up with me and then ill take you to the dojo!"

"what about the others?" i asked.

"they will meet us there." she answered. perfect. im curious to see the others abilities. last night it was too dark to see the full affects of what each of them did. my phone buzzed again as i got another text from Monika of her address. making sure i had my keys and wallet, i locked my apartment and began my walk to Monika's house. it was about 20 minute walk but at least the weather was decent. i then spotted Monika's house as i stood before it and began to text her.

"hey. im outside!" i messaged.

"alright i'll be out in a moment!" she replied back. i sat on the porch with my back towards the door, thinking about what yuri told me. i had to find a way to reveal my feelings to Monika privately but how? i never gotten the time to just being her and i. maybe i could ask her to join me for lunch someday? just when i ponder what would be a good place to take her, the front door open and closed behind me. i got up and turn around and immediately blushed. she wore a white tank top but her lower stomach was expose and she wore cute skinny jeans. her hair held by a white bow as her greens eyes shined with hope.

"hey kazz." she smiled.

"uh h-hey there!" i said as i rub the back of my neck as my ears felt hot. dammit why im always like this? she seemed to notice cause she smirked.

"like what you see?" she giggled.

FUCK!

"s-shut it." i muttered under my breath.

"hehe i'm just teasing you. besides i hope you don't mind getting that attire of yours getting dirty." she eyed my black t-shirt and jeans.

"huh? uh no. but why?" i asked confused.

"cause you and the ground are going to be very acquainted after today." she smiled. i raised my eyebrows

"well as long you don't kill me." i joked

"i think that's going to be up Natsuki's alley." Monika comment as then we burst out laughing as we began to walk towards the destination, cutting through part of town i wasn't familar with.

"so what are you girls going to train me on?" i asked. Monika was tapping her chin, thinking deeply on my question.

"well we need to start on hand-to-hand combat. i can see you okay with countering attacks but you can't always be on defense. Then Yuri and i can train you how to wield your katana and how to use proper stances. follow by testing your abilities."

"considering you girls have names for your powers i came up with one for mine." i said as Monika looked at me curiously. "since time slows down and im very accurate with guns i decide to nickname it 'dead eye'"

"sounds fitting for what you can do." she giggled as we began to walk through the forest.

"didn't know your grandfather's dojo was through here." i said surprised.
