chapter 3 unusual things

kazz's POV Evening

after eating a nice cheese pizza i cooked in the oven, i went to my bedroom and started on my homework with a better clear mind. for once i was actually studying as the desk lamp illuminated the quiet room. math wasn't that difficult but the fact of writing paragraphs to questions on history was a different story. i sighed as i drank my bottle of water.

Once i was finished I check the time on my phone. it was 10:37 pm. i had some time to think of a poem to write as i grab a notepad and stared at the blank piece of paper, tapping my pencil with my fingers as i began to think. what could i write about? time passed...my mind was empty of creativity. i let out a sigh before i went to brush my teeth. maybe i could ask Sayori some help? maybe even Monika?

i came back into my bedroom and shut off the light. just before i went to my bed something caught my attention through the window. i turn to look out and saw somebody on a roof of a house across from me...it was dark as the person blended in the shadows but from what i could of the figure, it look like a girl...and she had something on her face. a mask? just before my eyes could adjust more to get a better view, the person ran and jump off out of sight.

weird...

no use to dwell on it. the houses didnt look tampered with and even if they were, the owners would of heard that person or an alarm would of triggered. police would of been on the scene within minutes. i laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling. maybe ill come up with something for the poem tomorrow.

when i woke up i saw nothing but darkness. was this another dream? if so, it was one i wasn't familiar with. i moved around, my steps echo in the empty void. my anxiety was creeping up. just what the hell was this place?!

just when i was about to call out to anybody that could hear me i saw a glow orb a few meters ahead of me. my feet automatically power walked towards it as it floated before me. what was this? it felt...like hope. justice. peace. is this how i feel seeing this? without thinking, i grab ahold of the orb with my hand and clutched it. it felt warm to the touch as the glow illuminated in my palm.

suddenly it grew brighter past my hand, making me squint my eyes until i had to shut them tightly as the brightness was getting too much to bare! just what the hell is going on?!

"...your time will come soon...."

Wednesday, morning.

Bzzz....bzzz...bzzzz....

i woke up and hit my alarm. no nightmare but that strange vision i had.

"what the hell kind of dream was that?" i murmured as i rubbed my eyes. i felt rested for once despite the dream of the glowing orb. i felt calm as i got up and stretch as my phone buzzed again. i check it as i saw it was a text from Sayori.

"morning Kazz! did you sleep well?"

"i did...i actually had a peaceful rest" i replied. her text came back almost instantly.

"im happy to hear that!" she replied with a happy emoji.  i smile to myself as i wrote the next text.

"its thanks to you guys..for giving me hope." i replied as i step into the bathroom. my phone buzzed again as i read the text. i almost wanted to cry again.

"were here for you kazz. no matter how thick the darkness is, we will be your light." Sayori said with heart emojis. i brushed my teeth, changed into my uniform and comb my hair before i head downstairs. then just when i reach the ground floor, the door knocked suddenly. i answered it to see sayori in her uniform as well.
