We continued turning onto streets that weren't towards the police station. At this point, I didnt know where I was. I was scared, not going to lie. But I trusted Fury and Audrey could find me, even if I'm not the best GPS there ever was.
After what seemed like forever, the car stopped. I sat really still, preparing for anything and everything.
The "officers" open the door.
"Sorry kid, theres been a change of plans. We didnt go the the police station. We kind of went elsewhere. So do you mind giving us any electronic devices and coming quietly with us?"
Kind of do mind. I sign.
"What's she saying?" One whispers to the other.
"I dont know! You were supposed to pay attention in linguistics." The other whispers back.
Rolling my eyes, I pull out a sticky note and pen and write, "Kind of do mind" and hand it to them. They look at each other and then look at me.
"Well then we might have a problem, kid." They both reach their hands to their back pockets, pulling something out.
My mind was going a billion ways and I couldn't concentrate to save my life. So I went with my next best instinct. Running.
I slammed into them as hard as I could, immediately turning to sprint away. I felt a sharp stinging in my spine, forcing me to the ground.
I look up at the two people above me, the world slowly swimming in and out, they must've struck a nerve, they hold tasers in their hands. My father loved the idea of tasers. He found them a great way to take people down. And, wow, they are.
And the world goes black.
Audrey's pov
Something was wrong, I could feel it. Something had happened to her. I rushed through the halls of the Avengers compound, trying to find the room everyone was. I had been sat in Bruce Banners lab. I was dying, I HAD MET SOME OF THE AVENGERS! AND I HAD BEEN IN BRUCE BANNERS LAB! But I was remaining calm for Ivy. My oldest friend. I cared so much for her.
I finally found the room, I peaked in the window so I didnt embarrass myself if they had moved or I got the room wrong. Yep, the right room.
I pushed open the door. And jogged over to Fury.
"I know you said not to interrupt you and all of that stuff but somethings happened, I just know it, like pain or something, unconsciousness. Dont ask me how, I just know it." I rush.
I hear a small squeak of "Soulmate bond" in the corner, probably Clint, whatever that means.
"I'm still trying to get Stark to locate her from the phone, but it's still pretty unhackable." Fury informs me.
"Ya that would probably be my fault." I say slowly.
"You made this incription?" Mr. Stark asks.
"Yes?"
"Its really weird, not like normal code. Maybe you can undo it." He says.
I go over to where he has the code pulled up. It's a series of repeating numbers. If I remember right, the numbers correspond to letters of the alphabet and it shows the code to break through the firewall.(is that how code works, not? Idk these things)
I grab out a pen and write the alphabet on my arm, numbering them afterwards.
"Do you have any paper?" I ask the room.
"I've got some." Natasha Romanoff offers.
I decode the numbers turning it into the password, "MushroomVibes" and type it into the provided space.
With a look of confusion on his face, Mr. Stark asks me, "What kind of password is that?"
To which I reply, "The Cottagecore kind."
A blinking light appears on the screen on the map just outside of Manhattan.
"Avengers....Assemble." Steve Rogers says.
