Ivys pov

The world was barely there.

I was barely here.

Was I here at all?

Why was I here?

Didnt I have friends and a dad?

Where are they?

Where am i?

Why am I asking so many questions?

Why arent you asking so many questions?

Am I losing my sanity?

I giggle softly.

I think I'd lost a bit to much blood. I could feel it pooling around me. Maybe it was water! Why would I be in a puddle of water? Maybe I'm being drowned! That would be a fun way to go. Water is nice. Calming. It really dims the world.

BOOM!

Out of nowhere, an explosion shakes the room, and my brain. I can hear a high pitched alarm sound, echoing in the hallways.

Was I being saved?

Was my family here?

I really want them to be here.

My mind wanders over each one of my friends.

Clint, he understood where my sign language problem came from, he was nice.

Tony, sure I hadn't know him long, but he seemed like a fun person to get to know, I hope I get the chance.

Bruce, he was very much willing to protect me. And very doctor-y. But he was nice.

Fury, my dad. He gave me the best home I'd had since my mom died. Grateful couldn't even begin to describe my feelings. He was so kind, to a virtually stranger. Hehe, we are virtual strangers.

And even tho I hadn't gotten to know the rest of the Avengers, they seemed like cool people.

And Audrey. I missed her. Shes so nice and pretty. And she was so smart. How are you my age and that smart!? She was certainly a mystery. But a nice one.

Another "boom" shakes the room, rattling my brain.

I can feel the plants in the room. Their energy surging through me, keeping me conscious. It was very kind of the plants.

A small vine grows out of the ground, winding through my hand and up my arm.

Its was peaceful.

My mind slowly becomes dark. The plants energy not working very well now.

I'm not going to survive this one.

I sigh, letting go of extra weight.

The door burst open.

"IVY!"

The familiar voice jolts something in me.

They had come for me! My family was finally here! They had come to save me!

A tiny bioluminescent mushroom sprouts up by my hand.

Theres a smile on my face at the sight of Audrey and Fury.

"O my god." Whispers Audrey.

"Ivy I need you to stay awake. Ok? Please, just stay awake." Fury says.

They want me to stay awake, so I have to stay awake. But as the puddle becomes a pool, it gets harder and harder for me to keep my eyes open.

I open my mouth. If I'm going out, I'm going out on my terms and agreements.

"H-hi." I crack out.

I DID IT! I SPOKE! ITS BEEN DO LONG SINCE I COULD VOICE MY OPINION!

"You did it, Ives! I'm so proud!" Audrey says.

"Hey, kid." Fury says with a giant smile on his face.

"C-can we go home?" I ask.

"Of course we can." Fury says.
