Audrey's pov

She was home. Finally she was home. And alive! And even better plus!

Bruce was doctoring her up. She had somehow managed to stay awake through all of it, the ride home, and the doctoring.

She had lost a lot of blood, but I we figured out her type, that was an interesting experience, and she matched Tony. She probably has alcohol running through her veins now, but hey, if it works it works.

She was supposed to be freed soon.

The waiting room was starting to get boring.

The checkered walls, who even likes checkered print! Gray carpet floor. And of course the thing that kills my brain to look at. That all doctors offices have. That you can move the beads on. That thing! Apparently the Avengers acted like children in non-life-or-death situations, so they added the kids thingy.

The Avengers and Fury were in a meeting, with some counsel or something. I think they got in trouble for saving Ivy. But I dont think Fury would've let them not save her. He really cared. I'm glad shes in a good home.

The door opens, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"H-ey Aud." Ivy says.

"You know, your voice cracked, you might wanna fix it."

"Thank you." She says with a straight face.

"Are you alright? Well I mean, I'm doubting you're alright, but physically." I ask.

"B-ruce wants me to come in every other day, unless something goes south." She says.

"Yay! Shes aliving again! Everyone else is in a meeting or something."

"Owl house?"

"Owl house."

Furys pov

We were finally let out of the meeting. The Avengers got in trouble for going on a mission without permission(hehe that rhymes). And I got in trouble for not stopping them. Stupid a** council.

I went down to the waiting room. Audrey wasnt there anymore. Maybe Ivy was out? I went to the living room. No teenagers there. I went to Bruce's lab. They seemed to have chosen that as their hangout place, Bruce was incredibly excited by that.

As I neared the door, I heard laughter.

I didnt know teens could laugh!

I got closer to the door and heard a unknown voice say," Alright you acne-encrusted-hormone buckets, let's go get some teen angst!"

What're they doing!? Work out videos!?

"Do I even want to know?" I ask.

"Owl house." Audrey says simply.

"That explains so much." I say looking at the tablet in between them.

So not work out videos?

"Its a beautiful show." Audrey says clearing up lots.

"Ok, I'm just going to leave now... Theres nothing bad right?"

They both shake their heads in sync.

Now I'm scared.

"Ok, ya, im leaving now. Bye bye. Oh Ivy, we're leaving as soon as that episode is over." I say.

She nods her head being fully engrossed in the show.

I'm driving hearing the Owl House behind me.

Somehow I adopted Audrey too?

"Dont you have a home?" I ask Audrey, looking back at them in the mirror.

"Um, ya, yours." She says.

"N- ok. When your parents call wondering where you are, dont blame me."

"K."

"Ivy, what do you want for dinner?" I ask from her doorframe.

She starts to sign something out but stops herself, "Uh, spaghetti sounds good."

"Ok sure."

"This is nice spaghetti." Audrey says.

"Shouldn't you be at home?" I ask for the 50 billionth time.

"Um... why would I do that?"

It was 3 in the morning.

3 IN THE MORNING!

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

"Nooo! Not again!"

"Please no!"

"Nooooooooooooooo!"

"Crying! Screaming! Sobbing! Dying on the ground!"

I jump up from my bed and run into Ivys room, expecting to see a kidnapper or something else horrid like that. Instead, I find the two children in my home sobbing on the floor while the tablet rolls credits.

"What are we crying for? I thought something bad had happened!" I say.

"Something horrible did happen!" Audrey wails.

"Care to share?" I ask.

"T-he last episode. It's too sad!" Ivy says.

"You woke me up because you're crying over a tv show. Kids these days."

Ivys pov

I was going back to school.

I had been absent a lot, but we dont talk about that. I was going to be the normal me through all the day, then in Everett's, I'm going to raise my hand and ask her a question.

I was going to find this hilarious.

Finally, all my classes but Everetts were done.

I walked in, and sat at my desk. She commented on my absences and I signed about being kidnapped, but of course, no one has a clue what I'm signing.

After about 30 minutes into the lesson, she asked a question. I was actually paying attack for once so I raised my hand. She looked me in the eyes, clearly annoyed that I'd decide to raise my hand.

"Yes, Ivy?" She asks.

"Well, if your lesson is at all relevant to anything, g is less than 9."

The gravity in the room, shifted towards me. Everyone turned to be sure it was me who spoke and not some other Ivy. Ms. Everett looked scared, annoyed, angry. Maybe she thought I could speak this whole time but chose not to.

"Where did that come from?" The person beside me asked.

"Oh, nowhere." I answer.

"Ivy, I would appreciate it if you stayed after class so we can have a little chat." Everett says.

"K."

And then we proceed to go on with the lesson.
