The rubber Ninja

The snake moves

               Screams echoed down the dimly lit hall. Orochimaru was yet again doing an insane experiment. His informant walked in with a cloak and hood covering his face. "Lord Orochimaru, the paper bombs were caught and confiscated." Orochimaru still facing away from the informant smiled, "The coup is imminent then." He said licking his lips with an unusually long tongue. The informant hesitated for a bit and opened his mouth, "Th-thats the problem, Konoha believes that another group of infiltrators had brought the paper bombs and not the Uchihas." Orochimaru stopped moving the vials and the informant backed away in fear. "What do you mean?" He hissed. "There were a group of Kumo shinobies that tried a kidnapping of the hyuga heiress, they were caught and somewhere in between the blame was put on them." Orochimaru stood still for a little bit and resumed his work. "P-please excuse me." He bowed and left. Orochimaru was grinding his teeth, he had sent those papers bombs to Konoha in hopes of sparking a rebellion. He had carefully planned this for many months and now it was down the drain. "No use in needless thinking, I will abide my time." He said and the screams started again.

Hokage office:
                "You all did well, the hidden leaf is in your debt." Hiruzen said and Shisui and his squad smiled. They would be fools if they thought the Hokage didn't notice the shift in their voices. "Its no big deal lord Hokage, we only protected the village as is our duty." Shisui said with caution. "Being that as it may, it is quite suspicious that an Uchihas squad was in the roam during an unusual time in the night." Their bodies stiffened at Hiruzen's words. Shisui stayed calm and observed his surroundings, no more presence than the hokage's usual body guards. 'This is not an ambush, but just an interrogation.' He calmed down and spoke, "I am sworn to protect the hidden leaf and will do so until my end, there is no need for suspicion. I will give up my life to protect the village and it's people." Saying this Shisui knelt and his squad followed suit. Hiruzen smiled, "I know you will." Saying this he took out a scroll and handed it over. "Give this to Fugaku." Shisui took it and left. Kakashi appeared with a flash, "Are you sure lord Hokage?" He asked and Hiruzen smiled. "This may be our turning point."

Konoha park:

"NARUTOOO!" "SASUKEEE!" The two were fighting again over who gets to be on the slide first. Over the days following the dinner, the three had grown closer and often playing together. Luffy ofcourse was sliding as the other two fought. "Whoo hooo! This so fun!" Naruto and Sasuke looked over and rushed up the slide stairs hoping to be the first to slide down. Itachi watched the three play and was happily smiling. Ever since birth, Sasuke only ever stuck with Itach, it was refreshing to see him play with other kids. Meanwhile, Naruto observed Luffy using his rubber hand like a launcher to propel himself on a merry go. He grinned cheekily as another mischievous idea popped in his head.
                     Sasuke and Naruto pulled Luffy hard. Luffy was holding two trees like a slingshot and the other two were pulling his back to build momentum. " Yosh Luffy, you will be the first human boy to fly without wings." Sasuke was concerned, "OI will he be ok?" Naruto and Luffy smiled. " Yes, because I'm rubber after all." The two nodded and released Luffy. Luffy, much like a rubber band , propelled forward like a stone from a slingshot and flew over buildings. Unfortunately tho, a certain individual was standing there and thinking proudly about his brother. Itachi's eyes went wide open as Luffy came at him with full speed and crashed directly at him. The two fell down the building into a pile of garbage bags. Luffy slowly got up grabbing his head. "Iteee, It hurts even though I'm rubber, eh?" He looked down to see a dark haired guy passed out on the garbage bags. Luffy looked around to try to do something, but there was nothing he could think. Just then, Naruto and Sasuke came there looking for Luffy. "Who... Nii San!?" Sasuke couldn't believe it, his unbeatable Niisan was now lying limp. The three tried to take him out but he was too heavy to carry. "No choice, we have to conceal this murder." Naruto said and Sasuke turned in rage. "You dumbass! That's my brother! And why are you talking like he is dead!?" Naruto looks at him, " And you too are an accomplice!" Sasuke was taken aback. "D-damnit!"  The three were panicking hard. Itachi, who was standing at the top of the building was giggling hard. Like a bunch of brats can actually take down Itachi, it was all a part of his genjutsu and he was having fun.

After a good 15 minutes, the three were standing before Itachi. "Unsafe civil conduct, endangering citizen, attempted murder, erasure of evidence, these are the crimes you three commited these past 15 minutes." Itachi said smiling and th other three were pouting. "You must have said you were alright Niisan!" Sasuke looked away and pouted. "And you tried to cover up your brother's murder." Sasuke looked away "Hmph" . Naruto and Luffy stated at each other. "Oi Naruto what happened? Why did eye lines come back alive?" Luffy whispered and Naruto replied, "No idea, and also why are you saying we killed him?" Itachi giggled at these remarks and gave the three a warning. Itachi had a mission that night and so he left, the trio were walking home laughing. Mainly Luffy and Naruto laughing at Sasuke

There will be a time skip next chapter
