Soohee's POV
It's good to know that he doesn't have a girlfriend. It would be easier to tell him the truth. Though I know that accepting the truth is far from being uncomplicated.
It's also insightful to know his view on relationships. I said I have high standards, that included on people I want my son to be surrounded with. And it's nice to be validated rather than be judged.
One thing I've noticed, though, we both seemed to be dancing around the fact that we slept together. I know it was years ago, but that's still a fact that will stay with us forever. Not to mention that there was a living proof of that.
I guess we're saving that conversation for Sunday.
I know it's still too early to tell, but I'm quite glad that it was Namjoon that night. In my drunken state, I felt a little proud of myself that I chose him and it wasn't some guy with questionable background and all.
"Soohee-shi. Everyone is in the dining hall. Your father wants you to join them." One of our gajeongbu told me. I nodded at her and let her take my things before I went to the dining hall.
They already started eating and everyone looked at me when they noticed my presence.
"Hi, mommy!" Jun-seo squealed from his high chair. I approached him and kissed his little cheek.
"Hi, baby! Have you been a good boy today?" He nodded while eating.
"How was your trip?" My mother asked as soon as I sat on my chair.
"It was productive, to say the least." I happily shared. I began scooping my soup when my father talked.
"How was that thing I asked you about, Soohee?"
I looked at him and smiled a little. "I'm working on it, Father."
"Good." He briefly said.
We continued eating, occasionally talking about things that we're up to.
"Are we pushing through with our aquarium date this Sunday, unnie?" Ji-ah asked.
"Of course. We have the whole morning for it. Jun-seo is excited, right, baby?" I reached out for the table napkin and wiped his mouth.
