Soohee's POV

The talk hasn't happened yet.

Truthfully, it hasn't sunk on me yet. That one day he would have to leave for the enlistment.

I just don't want to think about it right now. And honestly, I don't have the luxury of time to worry about it.

I've been busy lately with the newest exhibit that my team put up. There had been delays on the delivery of the artworks. And because of that, we have to adjust everything. The opening had to be pushed back.

Namjoon, on the other hand, was busy as well. He told me that along with the preparation of their upcoming concert, they were also busy with their comeback album. He also mentioned about him doing his own album in preparation of their solo activities.

I'm actually worried about him. He's not getting proper sleep and I'm sure he wasn't eating well either.

If before I have to juggle my time between my work and taking care of Junseo, now I have to divide my time and look after Nam as well.

I've already expected this--him not giving us the attention and time during their busy days. But I still feel sad nonetheless, if only for Junseo's sake. He rarely sees his daddy nowadays.

That's why we try to visit him almost everyday. And Junseo will spend a little time with his daddy and uncles. He gets so excited every time.

Then there's the dinner event my father's political party organized. Jiah, my mother and I already had our dress fitting.

Junseo won't be coming with us and would have to stay with Ahjumma in my parents' house because Namjoon would have to stay late in the studio on that day.

Of course he will not come to the event. He's already told me that and I made sure my father was aware. But that didn't make any difference as father was still adamant on having him attend.

"I told you, he will not come, father. He won't expose us that way. He has a contract, he has his members to think of. Why do you insist on having him there? I could live with the rumors."

"How about its effect on my candidacy?"

"I'm sure your campaign team can do something about it. I could literally just straight up talk to the reporters and tell them I'm with the father of Junseo and is a very private person. End of discussion. They don't have to know it's Namjoon."

"You don't understand, Soohee..."

"Do you want to use Namjoon's influence to win this election?"

"How could you say that Soohee?!"

"I just can't think of any other reasons why you're insisting on involving him on this matter."

"Fine. I won't pressure you and him anymore. Get ready. Will be leaving in an hour."

I sighed and went out of his office.

The reporters flocked in the moment we arrived at the venue. I really would want to leave as soon as we came but I have to suck it up and play the nice and responsible daughter that I am.

I never really liked politics. But I grew up with it as it's my father's  job. Actually, I'm so out of touch of the elections eventhough my father is running for the highest position in the country. I just show up to things like this as part of my responsibility as his daughter.

The dinner event went on. All of his supporters were there. I was not surprised to see my childhood bestfriend, Sehun.

"Hey, Soohee! Long time no see!" He said as soon as he approached me.
