Chapter Six

A date happens under the sea

Everything slowed down as I yelled my sister's name. It's like when you try to move but nothing works.

I watched in horror as his hand went down all I could think about was, no no no.

But to my luck he just plucked the crown off of King's head and watched him jump for it and King also called not helping the cause, "Wa! Give me MY CrowN!" Then Octopus crumbled it all up. He really likes taking candy from a baby, he must be a horrible trick or treat company.

Part of me was relieved but another part was upset, It was like yay! No more stuip, useless crown, but then again like seriously all that hard trying-not-to-die work, for NOTHING. Dying is easy! Living is hard!

Anyways what probably snapped me back into the present was when he cut Eda's head straight off her shoulders, then like in cartoons her body is crawling on the ground, but that should be pointless because you have to have a brain to feel things therefore only Eda's head could feel things... Right? I'm probably think about it too hard. It's probably magic. I'll stick to my science fiction novels, like Franken, It SHOULD be Franken's Monster though.

Anyway The Warden grabbed Eda's head after RUDELY cutting off her head, "What do you want, miserable law follower!" Eda told him angrily.

"I have on request," The Warden passed like a host on a game show.

Octopus pulled flowers out of nowhere, and asked Eda the head, "Will you go on a date with me."

"Excuse me!" I yelled at him before Eda could answer, and I surprised myself when I told Octopus, "If you really wanted her to say yes to you, you should have held the crown as leverage and not just crumbled it up!"

I saw him frown down at me, "I didn't want her to have said yes!"

"Then why did you cut her HEAD off!" I pointed out.

"To make her listen to the whole question,"

"I think it was to make her say, 'yes'" Luz called out, helping my argument, but to be honest I had no idea what I was doing.

Octopus growled at Luz and she looked at him with a nerdy smile.

"Guys!" Eda called to us with a mischievous smile, "Don't worry a date would be fun!" She looked the Warden in the eyes and said, "Just come closer. Closer, CLOSER!"

I swore she was going to say closer again, but luckily she spat in his face which caused him to drop her.

Raced and grabbed Eda as Luz grabbed her crawling body. We're not insane so we gave her, her head back, or is it we gave her, her body back because her head is the only intelligent and emotional part of her? Does anyone know how to turn a brain off?!?

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY GERMS ARE IN SPIT!" The Warden roared at her angrily.

"AND SHE'S THE OWL LADY SO SHE PROABLY HAS EVEN MORE!" I yelled with a smirk spreading across my face.

"THAT RIGHT, KIDDO!" Eda yelled proudly.

Octopus roared at me, "YOUR DEAD!"

I feel pretty alive to me, I thought as we raced down to the cell room.

I heard Octopus slam into a cell as we turned the corner, and I felt a sharp piece of metal slice my arm. I winced obviously.

I bolted to the other side of the room as I heard Octopus raise his arm lifting all the debris that had fallen on it.

I heard Luz yelp as Octopus blade-hand-arm-thing slammed into the cell that was where I would have been if I didn't go to the other side of the long dim hallway.

Octopus was really bad at his job because we got all the cells open, ethier Eyeball Witch or Noise Witch had opened it or he broke the door or we had quickly opened it by the time we jumped out the window.

We all got on Owlbert and were about to fly away when one of his tentacles wrapped around the staff causing all of us to fly into the ground. I grunted after I landed on my already injured arm.

I pulled myself to my feet as my ears ringgit. Eda and Luz were already on their feet and I saw King stare madily at the Warden as he jumped out of a larger window. (He still broke the sides of it.)

He landed with a small crater. He looked into my eyes and growled. "Crap!" I mutter blotting as he roared and charged?

I ran to the wall that was surrounding the prison and felt the ground rumble as the over sized Octopus gained on me.

I herd Luz yell, "Look!" Well, Luz I can't look because I am running for my life right now!

I quickly blotted out the side, but I felt Octopus's tentcal wrapped around my leg.

I hissed in a breath as my leg was yanked out from under me. My chin slammed in the ground and blank dots danced around my vision. A groan escaped my lips and I saw Luz running towards and Octopus lifted me into the air.

I tried to tell Luz to stop, but all I got was a mouth full of blood from my nose.

I saw the ground closing in a little too fast and I closed my eyes as I felt my body hit the ground and I was like I felt my brain rattle.
