Genevieve's POV
"Hi Genevieve. How are you feeling today?" George asks me when he enters my hospital room with a smile on his face.
"Hi Georgie!" George chuckles at my nickname for him and comes to sit at the foot of my bed. Mommy's talking to Dr. Webber about her working for him soon and Meredith's doing rounds. George places a bag of my favourite candies, Skittles and Sour Patch Kids on the bed beside me.
"Thank you George. You did not have to do that."
"Genevieve, you're the sweetest girl that I know. You deserve the world." George says with a smile on his face and I couldn't help but smile.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Genevieve, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me when you're no longer a patient here." George tells me but I couldn't find my voice to respond.
"Dr. O'Malley, you should be getting back to work!" I hear Dr. Bailey tell George who nods before standing up and runs out of the room. Dr. Bailey gives me a smile before walking over to my bed and begins her tests.
"I am sorry Dr. Bailey. I did not mean to keep George from his work." Dr. Bailey shines a light in my eyes and I follow her finger with my eyes.
"It's not your fault Genevieve. I told George to leave because I saw that you're uncomfortable. You don't have to date him if you don't want to." Dr. Bailey explains to me.
"I do not want to date anyone. But George is so sweet and I do not want him to be mad at me if I say no. Other people got mad at me when I said no before." Including Derek, but I'm not going to tell her that...
"Genevieve, you should do what makes you happy and comfortable. Now, I have to get back to work, but I'll see about getting Meredith here to stay with you for a while." Dr. Bailey said with a smile.
"Thank you Dr. Bailey. Can you please ask Mommy if I can get hot chocolate?"
"I'll do just that. Now try and get some rest." Dr. Bailey says before leaving and I laid my head back down on the pillow. Tommy and his parents, Eileen and Zachary Davis entered my room with smiles on their faces. Tommy crawled onto the bed and hugged me, but I couldn't hug him back due to my broken arms.
"Miss Ginny, you're okay!" Tommy happily said and I couldn't help but smile.
"I am okay Tommy. How are you feeling superman?"
"He's doing fine Genevieve. But he wouldn't let us take him home until he saw you." Eileen says with a smile on her face.
"I am sorry that I worried you guys."
"Dr. Bailey explained everything to us. Those bastards deserve what's coming to them." Zachary angrily states before I turned to face Tommy.
"Tommy, I have some treats that I cannot eat all by myself. Do you want to take some home with you? Well if it is okay with your parents."
"Go ahead bug. Also make sure to thank Genevieve." Eileen tells her son who goes into the bag and picks a pack of Skittles.
"Thank you Miss Ginny." Tommy says with a smile on his face.
"You are welcome Tommy."
"Okay Tommy, we have to go now. You'll see Genevieve tomorrow." Zachary said tells Tommy, who climbed off my bed and runs over to his parents before they left the room.

Meredith's POV
"Dr. Grey, a word?" Dr. Bailey asks while I was completing my charts.
