Alex's POV
"Damn. Heart transplant. Would've like to have seen that." Sarah looks over me and takes my hand, gently squeezing it.
"There's always tomorrow, pretty boy." Sarah tells me.
"Yeah, well maybe for you. I re-take the boards tomorrow. Pretty sure I'm going to fail. Which makes today my last day here and I get to spend it doing stitches in the Pit."
"I know and that's why I'm going to help you." Sarah says before leading me to the tunnels where two women were sitting on the gurneys.
"Alex, this is my cousin Jennifer Jareau and her wife Emily Prentiss. Girls this my boyfriend Alex Karev. Alex I asked them to help you with studying for the exams." Sarah tells me before I kissed her and she kisses me back.
"Woah! Not that I didn't enjoy it, but what was that about?" Sarah asks me.
"Nobody has ever done something this nice for me."
"Now JJ and Emily prepared two scenarios for you to diagnose. And JJ is our nickname for Jennifer." Sarah tells me before I walk over to JJ's gurney.
"I don't know. It hurts here and here and back here." JJ says in an old lady voice.
"Any chance you got hit by a truck and forgot about it?"
"You're judged on bedside manner Alex. Just treat the patients in a similar manner that you would treat Daniel and Genevieve." Sarah tells me.
"Now like I said, it hurts here, and here and back here. Oh and this morning I noticed my poop was a funny greyish colour." JJ says in the old lady voice before I put my hands on her stomach and gently pressed down on it.
"Does it hurt here, Mrs. Jareau?"
"Yes Doctor." JJ says in the old lady voice when Genevieve walks or rather limps over to us and Sarah picks her up, putting her on the other gurney next to Emily.
"How about here, does it hurt here?"
"Yes it does." JJ says in the old lady voice.
"Are you playing doctor with JJ and Emily? I thought you and Sarah are together." Genevieve asks me, causing the other women to snort in amusement.
"How do you know them?" Sarah asks Genevieve.
"We were the agents that helped rescue her from William Davies' clutches." Emily explains to us.
"Wasn't he that pedophile and rapist who trafficked children and the children he didn't sell would end up dying by his hands?"
"Yes. Genevieve was his foster daughter and she witnessed him killing another girl. She told her teacher that he hurts kids and said teacher called us. She was seven and it was at a time she was temporarily separated from her older foster siblings." Emily explains to us.
"Alex needs help to pass his exam tomorrow and I asked my cousins to help him study. I don't share Alex with anyone but you and Daniel." Sarah tells Genevieve who nods before I turned to face JJ.
"Diagnosis?" JJ asks me.
"Gallstones."
"Right." JJ says before Genevieve hands me a wrapped gift and I open it to reveal a framed drawing of Sarah and I.
"Merry Christmas Alex and Sarah. I am sorry that I could not buy you two a gift." Genevieve tells me before I kiss her head.
"I love this gift rainbow. Because it came from your heart. I'm going to cherish this forever." Genevieve smiles and it causes her blue eyes to light up.

Addison's POV
"Open your presents little one." Genevieve had wide eyes when she saw the gifts by her spot on the sofa. Genevieve grabs her gift from Meredith and I before opening it to reveal a locket that held our picture and a charm bracelet.
"I love it. Thank you Mommy and Mama." Genevieve says before she opens the gift from Lexie and Mark. After Thanksgiving those two started going out and it's actually Mark's first serious relationship in a long time. The gift was a baking set that came with a baby blue apron that read Chef Sunshine in lavender lettering.
"I will use these when I do some baking. Thank you Auntie Lexie and Uncle Mark." Genevieve thanks them before opening the gift from Arizona and Amelia. Callie went home to spend Christmas with her family but gave Genevieve her gift last night. Callie got Genevieve a new phone since hers broke a while back. When I obviously wanted to pay her for the phone, she said that her family has more money than they know what to do with. Cristina and Preston gave Genevieve their gift to her yesterday at the hospital. They got her an art set, colouring books and sketchbooks. My brother and father are travelling for work so they can't be here today, but they promised to come for her birthday. Genevieve opens Arizona and Amelia's gift to see that it was a stuffed dog that looked exactly like Doc.
"Doc! It is Doc!" Genevieve excitedly says with the biggest smile on her face.
"We knew you'd love it." Amelia says before sticking her tongue out at Mark.
"Mommy! Auntie Amelia stuck her tongue out at Uncle Mark." Genevieve says with a smile on her face before crawling into my lap and I hugged her close to me. Henry gives Genevieve a gift bag and she opens it revealing a shirt that read Happiness is Being an Aunt.
"You and Allison are having a baby?" Genevieve asks Henry.
"Yeah tinkerbell we are." Henry says while hugging Allison.
"Congratulations." Meredith and I both say. Alex and Sarah give Genevieve their gift to her and she opens it. It was a bunch of Disney movies and clothes that made Genevieve have this huge smile on her face.
"They're also from my mom, brother and cousins." Sarah explains to Genevieve.
"Thank you all for the gifts. Where is George?" Genevieve says before hugging Buttons close to her chest.
"He's with his family and will be home in two days." Meredith explains to Genevieve.
"This is the bestest Christmas ever!" Genevieve says before I kissed her head.
