You woke up in a daze. Groaning, you got up and checked your phone. There were about a dozen messages from Wanda asking about Bucky;
Wanda: oh my god I saw you dance with him! Did he kiss you??? What does he taste like?
Wanda: Sorry I left early, Pietro needed help with his college homework again 🙄 did you get home safe? Text me when you get back to the hotel.
Wanda: You haven't texted me, it's been over two hours are you alive???
Wanda: Oh please don't tell me that hottie killed you Y/n!!!
Wanda: Y/N????? ARE YOU ALIVE????
Y/n: Yes, Wands. I'm alive and well. No we did not kiss, but he did ask me on a date and I said yes.
Wanda: Atta girl! Maybe you can ask him to set me up with Natasha? 🥺👉👈
Y/n: oh, word Wanda.
Wanda: I'm just teasing. I'm happy for you. Unless...😏
Y/n: 🤦♀️ you're impossible. Anyways, are we gonna go out today or should I just come over to your house? Cause I got a date with a Mr. Barnes at 6:30 tonight.
Wanda: We're going out, we need to go dress shopping!!!
You sighed before agreeing to the dress shopping trip. You got up out of bed and got dressed. You then took a cab to Wanda's Brooklyn brownstone. It's such a beautiful home.
It was sprinkling a bit and you ran up to the covered porch and rang the doorbell.
Wanda came out with a huge grin plastered on her face. "I got a cab here ready to go. I'll pay." You said.
"Alright, let me grab my purse." She said before disappearing into the house. The door was cracked open and you could see her grab her purse from the living room.
Then the two of you made it out into the car. "So, tell me everything." Wanda squealed.
You blushed, "Well...after you disappeared he came up to my table. I really tired ignoring him but it was so hard. He just looked so hot and smelled like a whisky and cologne mixture that was so alluring."
"Oooh okay...."
You chuckled before continuing,
"We started talking, I told home my name. Then he somehow convinced me to let him buy me a drink. He promised he wouldn't roofie it, so I said okay. Then, a older man came over and started flirting with me and touching me, making me really uncomfortable. Bucky came back and scared him off before giving me my drink and acted like nothing happened."
"Wow, so he's hot and protective? You scored on this one, L/n."
"I guess so. But I don't know that yet. I mean he could still be a serial killer! Ted Bundy was very charming, you know?"
"Please, a global superstar being a serial killer? He'd be found out so quick."
"Okay...but if I text SOS you'll call me and give me an excuse to leave right?"
"Yes, yes of course."
Once you made it to Macy's, you looked around the dresses and found a simple black one that looked classy and elegant. You bought it along with some new makeup and perfume.
Wanda helped you get ready. She looked at you with adoration as she stepped back to admire her work.
"You look so gorgeous! Here, let me take a picture!" She took out her phone took a photo of you.
"Alright, I better get going, I'll come back later to pick up my stuff from your house okay?"
"Alright, have fun on your date!"
And out the door you went.
