Aurora and Tom lay in bed for hours. Their tears had stopped and now they just embraced each other, being careful to avoid the scars that were scattered on both their backs. Aurora was nestled into Tom and drew circles on his clothed chest to keep her mind distracted. The pair were content in the silence, but had a feeling it wouldn't last long. They were proved right when a loud knock on the door echoed throughout the room.
"Why the fuck is my room door locked?! Whoever you are, if you're shagging in my dorm room, I'll skin you alive!" A female's voice called out. Tom and Aurora's eyes met in amusement, before Aurora sighed, going to open the door. She removed both the magical and non-magical locks and opened the door to find a pretty brunette girl on the other side. "Hello..." "Rose. Ember Rose." "Right, Ember Rose. I'm Aurora Alexia Black and I was assigned this room as your roommate" Aurora told the girl, all traces of emotion from her time alone with Tom, having completely vanished.
"Great(!) And would you care to explain why Riddle is in my room?" The girl asked as she walked over to her vanity. "Well, Amber, I fancied getting information about the new girl here since she made quite the entrance with her brother" Tom answered with a smirk, knowing his mispronunciation of Ember's name would piss her off. "Firstly, it's Ember, not Amber" the brunette girl almost growled out. "And secondly, whose your brother?" Ember directed at Aurora.
"Asmodeus Alexander Black" a voice piped in from the door. Ember spun round at the sound of the smooth voice, to find a beautiful, yet unfamiliar boy leaning against her door frame with a smirk. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ember. Riddle." Asmodeous voiced, his eyes flickering between the two and then landing on his sister. He flashed a mischievous grin as the pair simultaneously noticed Ember staring at him, before slowly turning and walking away.
"Leave Riddle!" Ember spoke harshly, finally breaking out of her trance. "I really do not know why you are so hostile towards me. What have I ever done to you?" Tom asked with a smirk as he moved towards the room door. Ember said nothing but threw a pillow at his head, which he dodged, making it hit the door. He chuckled a little and Aurora smiled at the whole interaction, before waving the door shut with her magic.
"So Ember, what do you say to having a few drinks and getting to know each other?" Aurora asked the girl, conjuring a bottle of firewhisky and two glasses. "I think I'm going to like you" Ember answered with a smirk of her own as the two girls sat down and spent the night asking each other questions while downing, tens of glasses of firewhisky.
A/n: btw, Aurora and Ember have not met before this point as Aurora was given another dorm first. However, she didn't get along with those girl's so was moved to Ember's. Also Ember was in the bathroom when the twins arrived a month prior and she was too focused on her studies to notice them.
