The Black Twins

Chapter 15

Aurora and Asmodeous got back to Hogwarts, and Aurora insisted on leaving to find Tom straight away. Asmodeous had offered to go with her but she told him to fill in Ember on what had happened. He left hesitantly after embracing his twin, whilst she headed to the great hall.

She walked up to the Slytherin table and saw everyone besides Mattheo and Tom. "Hey guys" Aurora greeted her friends. "Hey, you ok? We haven't seen you since the other day" Lorenzo asked. "I'm fine, I iust need to find Tom. Do any of you know where he is?" Aurora asked them. "He went to the library" Theodore told her. "Thanks Theo, see you guys later" Aurora said and started to walk away, but was stopped by Theo's voice calling her.

"You look like you could use one of these" Theodore told her, placing a cigarette in her hands. She gave him a small smile and placed it between her lips. He lit it for her and she smiled once again, before heading in the direction of the library. She took a few long puffs, feeling slightly relaxed, then she took it out and crushed it under her heel and walked into the library.

As she entered she saw Mattheo doing homework at a table which was a massive shock to her. She was going to approach him, when the person she was looking for apeared in her peripheral vision. She turned, only to see Tom Riddle talking to Pansy Parkinson. Her breath hitched, and tears began to form in her eyes as they were very close to each other, their lips pretty much millimetres apart. She ran out of the library, all the way back to her dorm, locked the door and flung herself onto the bed, letting her tears fall.

In all her life, Aurora Alexia Black had never felt this weak or heart broken as she did right now. She couldn't believe he would lie to her and then kiss Pansy and THEN show his affections towards the girl in public. After a good half an hour of non-stop crying, she took a deep breath and sat up. She turned on her phone and randomly clicked a song. And as if the Universe was mocking her, a sad playlist rang out through her room. Giving up, she flopped back onto her bed and sobbed silently, listening to the lyrics of each song and trying to push Tom out of her head.

*Meanwhile*

Tom had just exited the library with Mattheo after threatening Pansy as Parkinson and almost using the cruciatus curse on the girl. He was stopped by his younger brother and dragged out of the library. They were now headed to the great hall where the rest of their friend group was. As they approached the group, Tom noticed a frown upon Draco's face. "Why's Aurora not with you?" He asked as the pair sat down.

"She's back?" Tom asked his eyes lighting up. "When did she leave? She came in here, looking upset and told us she was looking for you, so we sent her to the library" Enzo told him. "What? I never saw her there" he replied, making the whole group frown.

"I saw her enter the library and start looking around, before the doors shut behind her. Then not a minute later, she ran back out, tears falling down her face and she was headed in the direction of the Slytherin common room" Luna Lovegood voiced, having seemingly appeared out of thin air. Tom turned to look at the Ravenclaw girl, and when he saw no sign of a lie, he sprinted out of the great hall, all the way to the common room.

He shouted the password and entered, before running up the stairs, to the girls dorms. He ran all the way to her door, and knocked on it, rather harshly. He pressed his ear to the door, hearing no sounds from the other side, besides sad music playing and the sound of the girl he loved crying quietly. "Aurora, let me in!" He pleaded, knocking on the door again. He heard the music stop and the crying too. Then he heard a shuffle and the door creaked open. "What do you want Riddle?"
