ADELA
The past few weeks, Adela and Tsu'tey have been training. Teaching her all the things, even though she knew some of those things. And to be honest she might this little crush on him, just like when we were younger. But he was in love with Swlyanin. But she's gone and she's never coming back. And honestly having a little crush is an understatement. It's more like a hug fat crush on a boy that she has since they first met, at the school.
Adela shakes her head, getting out of the hammock. Pulling herself up onto the root, then heading down to the main area. Getting things ready for the day, helping people with stuff. Before the day goes on, as Adela was working on her knife and bow, as Ninat was sitting next to her make shaft baskets. "You know, Del. I can tell that you have a crush on Tsu'tey." Ninat looks over to me, as a smirk is forming on her on lips. "Is that the really the first thing you say to me," as she raised her brow, Adela stops sharpening her knife then looked over to Ninat with a blank face. "Besides, you can't prove that." Adela tell her. "Hey, Ne'terri. Can you tell if Del has a thing for Tsu'tey." she shouts to Awa'iti. The female beside Ninat hushs her, making her friend quiet, making sure that no one hears her. "Shh, okay fine I do have a thing for him. The whole god damn world doesn't need to know." Adela whisper yell at her, Ninat laughs at her. Then she smiled, Adela sat there, with her arms crossed and pouting.
Then Tsu'tey and three other men walked past but stopped once Tsu'tey saw her. "Take a day off. I be out hunting most of the day." then walked off. "Oh, Del keep looking like that and your face will get stuck that." he called out to Adela, she gasps at what he said. Pouting even more, then Adela heard Ninat, and Ne'terri laughs at her. "Oh, shut will you." Adela growls at them, a few seconds later she laughs a bit. "Del." she heard shouting, Adela looked over to see the kids running over to her. With a smile on their face. They're so adorable, she thought to herself. One of them came over to Adela and gave her a tight hug. She made sure that her knife was away from her. Her name is Atremaia. Then there is her older brother. Cassius, he's only a year older than her. Then there is Eko and Emiko, the both of them are sweethearts. All four of them are. "Yes Maia," Adela smiles at her, then at the others. "Can you tell us a story please." she said, with her pleading eyes.
Adela chuckles. "I think, I told you guys all the stories I know" she tells the young girl. They all gave her a sad look. "Why you always lying?" Ninat spoke not looking at them. "You have quite a lot since you told me all of them. But you told them half of them." she smirked at her friend, Adela. She shakes her head, looking back at the younger ones. "Okay, well. When I was 5 or 6 years old. Me, Neytiri, Tsu'tey and Sylwanin, we would always go out at night. Going swimming at the lake not far from the old school that use to be open years ago." Adela said. Trying to hide the sadness, but Ninat notice this at least one person will notice it, always noticing something. Even the mention of her name. "So, every chance we could get we would always go to that lake. But one night we got caught by Ateyo. So, the only thing that we did was push him into the water and ran off them going to hometree and then me back at the cabin back by the old school. That's the one thing that me, Tsu'tey and Neytiri will laugh up to this day." Adela smiles at the memory.
Adela hears the younger ones laugh in front of me along with her and Ninat. Then Ateyo and Artsut walked past, then looked over to them. "What are you guys laughing here?" Artsut smiled at them. "The time how Del pushed Ateyo into the lake." Eko said, honestly. "Eko what the hell!" Adela groans. "That's just brutal," she whispers to herself, Adela's head leaning against Ninat's shoulder, as they laughed at her. But Ateyo just stared at Adela with no emotion, like the expression she knows so well from someone else. Doing the same thing he was doing to her. "Well, to be fair Ateyo it was quite funny to see." Adela jokes with him. But he didn't respond to Adela but look at her. She shakes her head, then his mate walked off holding onto her mate's arm as they walked off. For the rest of the day her and the four kids played with each other. They even walked to the lake that she and others would go, when they had the chance. Or whenever she got to sneak away from her mother from the school.
By dawn the sun was going down. So, they had to go back to hometree. As they were walking back to hometree, Adela could feel eyes watching on them. On her, she looks up into the trees, trying to see who was watching them. As she locked eyes with this person. She notices it was Tsu'tey, and Neytiri. She smiled shaking her head, looking down at the others. Seeing that they were not far ahead of her. A sense of nostalgia rushes in her. A minutes later they finally got to hometree. The kids ran off to their parents, telling them what they did today. Adela sat down next to Ninat and Ne'terri. She sighs as sat on the ground. "Finally, some rest." Adela said, looking tired. "Exhausting day." Ne'terri asked her friend. She nodded her head, leaning her head on her friend shoulder. Closing her eyes, but making sure she don't go into her human body. Then a shadow came over to her, making her open her eyes. As Adela eyes are open, she saw Tsu'tey in front of her, Adela smiled at him. Lifting her head off of Ne'terri shoulder.
"Well, get some rest I'll tell Tsu'tey that you went sleep early." Ninat smiled as she said that. Adela nodded her head, getting up and heading over to the hammocks. Getting into my own, making sure that I don't fall, but into her hammock, Adela closed her eyes, then drifting off as Adela went into her human body. She open the link pod swinging her legs to the ledge. "How was it today?" She hears her mother ask her. Adela looked over to her. "It was my day off today. So, I hang out with the kids that I was telling you about." Adela tell her, she nodded her head. "Well, I'm going to get some rest I really need it." Adela weakly smiled at her. "I'll see you in the morning." her mother tells her. Adela nodded her head. "Night." Adela called out to Grace. "Night." she said back to her.
