Adela was at the table, staring out of the window, deep in thought. Not realizing that someone was calling her. "Addie!" her mother called to her. She looked over to Grace. "Are you okay?" she asked her daughter. "Yeah, I was just thinking," she tells her, with a smile on Adela's face. "Okay, well, if you need me. Let me know," she smiles at Adela, and she nods her head.
Adela smiles back at her mother, gripping her shoulder a little tighter. "Okay, well, I'm going to head in now," Adela tells her. "Ok, well, I'll help you," Grace said, walking over to the link pod, getting in, once it was closed. Adela closed her eyes, seeing colours of a tunnel, finding herself in her avatar body. Once she was in her avatar body, Adela felt someone shaking her. Adela also heard the cracking of bark breaking, opening her eyes, seeing that it was Tsu'tey, he's in distress, she can tell. "What is it? Are you okay?" Adela asked him with concern and worry, and he pointed in a direction that was behind her.
Looking over to see a big machine bulldozing the tree of souls, and seeing a bunch of armed men. Adela covers her mouth. Tears were going down her face, then at this point, Adela was sobbing. "No," she whispered, her hand over her mouth, and got up to her feet. Taking a few steps closer to them but not in their line of sight, Adela felt his arms go around her. Tsu'tey held her in his arms. As he was trying to comfort Adela. "Come on, Addie. We've got to tell Eytukan and Mo'at," he tells her. Adela nodded her head, wiping her tears away. Then she got up onto her feet. Running off in the direction of the hometree. Once they got to the hometree, both of them were holding their hands.
Others stare at their hands. "Eytukan, Mo'at there something important I need to tell you?" he called out to them. "You mated with Addie, did you?" Mo'at said with a stern voice. "It is done. But the Skypeople are destroying the tree of voices. We have to do something." Tsu'tey tells them. Eytukan nodded his head. They spoke more about it, and they even accepted Adela and Tsu'tey for being mates. Even though Tsu'tey and Neytiri were supposed to be a mated pair.
"Tsu'tey will lead the war party!" Eytukan spoke, as they cheered, raising their bows. So did Adela. "Stop, please!" Adela heard her mother speak. Everyone went quickly once she spoke. "This will only make it worse," she continued. "You do not speak here!" Tsu'tey said with a stern voice. Looking at her with an angry look. "We will strike them in the heart," he spoke, as they cheered, raising their bows. "Tsu'tey don't do this!" Jake called out, walking over to them. They went quiet. "You!" he said sternly, walking over to them. He pushed Jake to the ground.
"Tsu'tey!" Neytiri said. Pushing him back a bit. "Did you mate with this woman?" he said to Jake.
"Oh shit," is what Adela heard from Grace. She walked over to Tsu'tey, holding on to his hand. Trying to calm him down a bit. "Is this true?" Mo'at said with a straight face. "We are mated before Ewya. It is done," she said, looking at Tsu'tey, then over to her mother. Tsu'tey turned around, facing Adela. His head was resting on her shoulder as he tried to calm down from anger. "Brother, please. Don't attack the sky people. The Omaticaya will die if you do," he tells him. "You are not my brother." he spat, as he throws his bow on the ground, running over to Jake.
Adela tried to grab him, but he was already going after him. Grabbing onto his knife as he stood in a fight stance, Jake dodged him. Making him grab his own. "And I am not your enemy," he threw his knife to the ground. "The enemy is out there, and they are very powerful," he continues as he points. Both of them fight each other, making Adela worry for both of them. Especially Tsu'tey. "I am Omaticaya now. I am one of you." Jake spoke. "I have the right to speak. I have something to say. To all of you," he paused. "The words are like stones in my heart," he says, looking over to Neytiri.
Grace falls to the ground. Oh no, I thought "Grace?" Neytiri called to her. "Okay, look. I was sent here too..." but he fell to the ground. "You, see? It is a demon in a false body." Tsu'tey said. About to cut Jake's neck. Neytiri was throwing him off of Jake, protecting him. She felt scared at this moment. Knowing that Adela was going to be next, Tsu'tey walked in my direction. Looking at Adela, he notices the fear on her face.
