ADELA
"Why are you watching me sleep?" Adela asked her, as she raised her brow, a look of confusion placed on her face. "That's creepy." she continued. "I got told by Tsu'tey to wake you up. It's been thirty minutes now." she tells her. "And why is that?" Adela asked her again, not getting up from her hammock just yet. "Something about getting your Ikran today." she answered Adela. She gasps remembering what day it is. Adela got out of the hammock as fast as she could. But making sure that she didn't fall out of it.
Once her feet at on the large root, Adela started heading down. "Thanks for telling me," she tell the little girl. She smiles, "No problem." she calls out to her. Adela got her knife and bow, heading over to the open field of Pa'li. Where Adela saw Jake, Tsu'tey and the others. Jake looked over to her. "Took you long enough." he tells her. "Sorry I was a bit busy." Adela tells him, feeling someone looking right through, which she ignored. Because he knows she wasn't busy.
Walking over to Vaea, her Pa'li. "Hey Vaea." she smiled, tubbing his snout. Which he huffed in happiness. Adela connected her queues to the tsaheylu, she got onto his back with ease, much more easier than she had weeks ago. Looking over to the boys, seeing that they were waiting for her. "Let's go." Adela tells them. Tsu'tey took the lead of heading up in the mountains. Once we got to the part where our Pa'li couldn't go any further. They had to get off them and start climbing up.
Which she's not complaining about... well maybe. They started climbing getting to the part where we have to jump on a root and then climb up. "You got to be kidding me right." Adela spoke aloud. Tsu'tey looked over to her, with a straight face, but she notice a small smirk on his face. She wasn't scared of heights or anything. It was more like death she was scared of. She shakes her head slightly with a small smile on her face. Everyone started to jump at root that was coming by. Once it got to her, she breathed in and out, before she jumped, grabbing onto the root then started climbing. Once Adela got to the top, she breathed heavily, which she's trying to control, the boys walked into the cave. With her not far behind them. Adela still catching her breath. Man, I need to get more into shape with this body, damn, she thought to herself. Then they saw Neytiri coming at the opening on the other side of the cave. Adela nodded her head back at Neytiri, she did the same.
Neytiri looked over to Jake and he did the same thing that Adela did. "Jake Sully will go first." Tsu'tey said with a smirk. Looking over at Jake. She shakes her head. Jake handed over his bow over to Tsu'tey. Which he snatched it out of his hand, he walked off. "Now you will choose your ikran." Neytiri tells Jake. "This you must feel inside." she puts her hand on his chest. "If he also chooses you, move quick like I showed you. You will have one chance Jake." Neytiri tells him. "How will I know he chooses me?" he asked her. "He will try to kill you." she tells him. "Outstanding." Jake said sarcastically. Adela rolls her eyes at him as follow them behind. Then Tsu'tey was behind her, they walked in as she saw a bunch of ikan. She wrapped her pinky around his own, dragging him with her as they watched Jake. Tsu'tey looked down at their link fingers, then at her side profile. A look of pure relaxtion was on her face, then a small smile is coming up on his lips.
Then he looked over to see Jake grabs his Yìmkxa then starts walking to the ikran. Some of them screeched and flow away while one stayed and screeched at him. Which Jake hissed back. No this is going to be interesting, Adela thought to herself. As Adela watched Jake trying to get his queue to the tsaheylu which he eventually got it. She cheered we he got his along with the others. While not taking away her hand from Tsu'tey. While Jake flew off. Tsu'tey yelled at them, Adela just rolled her eyes. Adela got her Yìmkxa, walking into a bunch of Ikran. Taking away her hand from Tsu'tey. Most of them just hissed at her and flew off but that is when one of them stayed.
Adela smirked swing her Yìmkxa around. She was beautiful if Adela was being honest. She came at Adela, while she dodged wrapping the Yìmkxa around the mouth quick getting on top of her. Getting her queue and the tsaheylu. But got head butted by the ikan, making her groan from the pain.
She thrashes around trying to get out of my hold. But I was trying to make the bond. Minutes later of trying to make the bond. I finally got my queue to the tsaheylu, My pupil got bigger than back to normal. I smiled finally getting my Ikran. Go over to the ledge, Adela thought to her new bonded Ikran. Looking over to the guys wanting her to go. I'm going to call you Nina, Adela thought to herself. So, she did. Fly, Adela thought. Nina did what Adela said, flying off into the sky, hearing the guy's cheer for her in the distance. Turning back to the others, looking down at them smiling.
Which they are smiling back, as well for Tsu'tey. But only Adela saw it. The type of smile that she hadn't seen in years. The type of smile that made her knees felt week, and she hoped that he would keep that smile forever.
