Chapter 5||Happy Birthday||

I smirked as I crept into Adrian's room, his snores filled the room as I snickered. I've come to smite thee, my smirk broadened and I jumped on him making him bolt up and trap me under him; "Thorn?" he spoke, and I grinned, his morning voice is hot. "Happy Birthday!" I spoke making his orbs widen and he folded his brows together and plopped on me, I groaned under his weight as he chuckled. Our faces were flushed as he looked up, his gaze was half-lidded and he stifled a yawn, he is not awake. My face only got redder as his head rested on my breast; "Adrian, are you awake?" He muttered something making me chuckle and wrap my arms around his bare shoulders. I began to rake my fingers through his hair, he groaned burning his face further into my breast and his hands raked around my figure. My face feels like it was on fire, if I was alive my heart would be beating out of my chest, he pulled himself his nose resting in the crook of my neck as his eyes were closed. I shivered under his touch and his snores filled my ears, it seems I have been trapped. My face is red I am holding a half-naked man that is very dear to me and his nose is buried into a very ticklish spot on my neck. And he won't let me go, Ryuko help. 

We all stood at the door staring at the two in front of us, "You sure they're not secretly together?" Edward questioned as Axel snapped a photo; "Blackmail," the ginger snickered and I smirked hell yeah. "Who knows," I spoke leaning against the frame, Thorn was on Adrian's chest and the male was twined around her, her hand on his chest as his were on her back and head. They were on their sides and turned towards the door as his snores filled the room. "How to wake them up," I muttered with a hum and Edward smirked. "I got this," he grinned evilly pulling out a popper, where did he even get that? Axel covered his ears and I did too as he pulled it, the two jumped and she summoned her blade and he held his scythe towards us. They paused and she groaned letting the blade disappear as she rubbed her ears Adrian raised a brow; "The hell?" He spoke, why did his voice get deeper? "Wake up sleeping beauties, we got shit planned." He set the scythe down glaring at Edward who snickered; "Get out," he hissed and I stepped out as the two chuckled and we slipped out. "He is not a morning person," Axel spoke and handed me the photo; "Nice shot, and yeah he's never been one, Thorn is the only sane one among us. Then again she usually doesn't sleep." I spoke as Axel hummed and Edward plopped sitting on the armrest beside the ginger. "She is half demon," Edward spoke with a shrug; "Oh yeah, forget that sometimes." Axel agreed and Edward chuckled; "I think we all do." The door creaked open, and Thorn walked out stretching her limbs and yawing as she ventured to the kitchen. Must be making coffee? I heard a shower and held back a chuckle, poor guy. Edward snickered and Axel lightly smacked his arm making him stop; "Morning," she spoke leaning against the frame, "Hey Thorn," I waved and she raised a brow taking the photo and her face darkened as she turned to Axel who shrugged. "your welcome," He snickered, and she sighed; "Stop with the blackmail, this would be the fifth time this week." He snickered making me pale, what does this man do in his free time? "But the memories!" He chirped faking innocent. Her brow twitched and Adrian slipped out, heading to the kitchen then waltzed in with a mug, he raised a brow took the photo then glanced to Axel who shrugged. He just set it in his pocket, "So once your awake will be heading out, the higher-ups gave us some time off, oh and they want to speak to both of you." Thorn tilted her head as Adrian cocked a brow; "Why we haven't done anything wrong?" He asked and I smirked; "Exactly, now Thorn go fix your bedhead." She blinked and flushed scurrying off as his eyes trailed after her and I leaned back. "When you gonna ask her?" His gaze shot to mine and his face darkened as he siped the dark liquid; "What are you talking about?" He muttered and we all looked at him, "Really Adrian," Edward spoke, "Look at the photo you just snuck and say that again," Axel challenged making him pale, I sighed; "You can deny the truth all you want, but that doesn't change your or her feelings. She obviously likes you too, what are you waiting for?" He paused, his bangs covered his face so I couldn't really tell what was going on in his head. "Hey is this better, what happened?" Thorn appeared and walked to Adrian, setting a hand on his shoulder and smiling; I watched as she hummed softly and he raised his head. "Whatever you are overthinking, don't just go with what you think is right. I understand Ryuko was probably on your ass about something and that must've been important," I smiled seeing him grin at her and she stole some of his coffee. He took the mug and lightly poked her cheek as she puffed her cheeks making us grin at her. "Alright, Thorn," she grinned and he looked at us and we grinned at him making him grin, Thorn raised a brow and shook her head at us.
