Chapter 14. Shopping Spree & Recollection.

Liam's POV.

I stared at the gorgeous,curly haired beauty lying beside me, not to sound like a creep or anything. She was my girlfriend after all.

I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Danielle was everything I wanted, and she always kept me grounded. Even though we'd been dating for almost a year, I felt like I'd known her all my life. She was just perfect. I was really glad Emma and Danielle got along. I knew I could trust Dani with my life. I'd do anything and everything to keep her safe and happy. She was just that precious to me.

Her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Morning babe", I said.

She gave me one of her adorable smiles.

"Morning Liam", she replied lazily.

I stretched my hand and gently caressed her face.

"Sleep well? "

"Mmm", she mummered.

"What's the time?", she asked.

"Nine...why?"

"I promised Emma I'd take her shopping today, better get out of bed now"

"Noo, don't go", I whined while pouting.

"Li, I have to. Stop being cranky.", she said while chuckling.

She got out of bed, leaving the space beside me empty.

"How about a kiss before you go?", I asked, puckering my lips.

Danielle rolled her eyes at my childish-ness before giving me a small peck on the lips and fleeing to the washroom.

I sat in bed, staring into space, when all of a sudden, my phone buzzed.

I unlocked it, only to see that I had a new message.

From: Mum

Hello darling! How are you and Emma? I just wanted to remind you that Emma's graduation is day after tomorrow, and I'm sure it must have slipped her mind. I've emailed you a list of things she needs and her timing schedule for tomorrow. Please make sure she has everything. Give my regards to Danielle and the boys. Will call you tonight. Oh and please leave at a reasonable time, since you have to drive all the way back to Wolverhampton.

I shook my head at Emma's forgetfulness.

That girl had the memory span of a goldfish.

I couldn't believe she had forgotten her own Graduation!

I then checked my email, to find one from my mother.

I clicked on it, only to find a long list.

Just then, Danielle walked out of the washroom.

"Hey, Dani. Mum just texted me. Emma's graduation is day after, and there are a few things she needs to get. Since you'll are going shopping,could you please see that she gets everything she needs?", I asked.
