Delilah's pov:
It was the next day.
Me and Cherry were waiting for mom to leave for work so I could help her regain her relationship back with Gabe.

After Cherry had spilled her entire feelings onto me last night, I have felt different feelings towards her, not mean or disgust or annoyed, more love and sadness and concern for her.

She really didn't deserve what mom had done to her. Mom ruined her and she did not deserve that.

So I'm going to be the one to bring her back to life.

Cherry is sitting on her bed reading a magazine while I sat at her dresser and waited.

She had her boombox going again with Elvis playing. I learned something about her, she loves Elvis, I mean really who doesn't, but she loves him.

I saved that idea up in the back of my head and continued to wait.

Finally mom called out:

"Guys! I'm going to work now! Don't make a huge mess." And the door slammed shut behind her.

Me and cherry instantly got up and headed towards the kitchen. Gabe was sat at the kitchen table, doing his reading homework.

"Hey Gabe." I said

He looked up from his book and smiled.

"Hey Delilah." He said and turned back to his book.

I sat down next to him and Cherry went and sat on the other side of him.

Gabe looked up from his book again, he looked back and forth from me and Cherry.

"Okay what's happening. You guys are scaring me." He whispers.

I laugh a little and shake my head.

"Gabe there is something I gotta talk to you about." I say, starting to get nervous.

What if he doesn't take Cherry back? Cherry would be heart broken.

"What is it?" Gabe asks fully setting down his book.

I take a deep breath and clear my throat.

"Cherry, wants to become a better sister for you. Gabe, Cherry has gone through a lot and she's so so sorry for never engaging with you, but she wants to change her life before she can't anymore. I want you to think about it." I say.

Gabe looks at me and then at Cherry. Then back at me. He smiles lightly.

The good thing about Gabe is that he forgives people easily.

"Okay! I forgive you Cherry." Gabe says smiling happily at her.

Cherry looks at him with a wide smile and turns her head to look at me.

I smile happily at her too, thank God it worked.

"Thank you so much Gabe, I promise I will try to be the best big sister ever." Cherry says sincerely to him.

"Hey!" I say putting my hands up in the air.

Gabe giggles.

"Sorry sorry!" Cherry says putting her hands up with a smile, laughing a little too.

We are gonna be just fine.

"Cherry you never told me about why you liked Pony." I asked Cherry.

Me, Cherry and Gabe were all sitting on the couch watching tv.

Cherry sighed.

"I never really liked liked him, he just is a good kid, and he has loving brothers and had loving parents, I was mostly just jealous. And when I found out you were dating him. I was jealous that you had found yourself a good spouse, Bob never treated me right." Cherry states causally.
