SILAS HAD FOUND the second day of school to be somewhat peaceful. Their first class of the day was Uglification, but according to what Lady Lesso had told her, she was exempt from attending the first class for the remainder of the academic year. The identical outfit as yesterday was worn, including lace-up shoes, black plaid trousers, and a white long sleeve shirt. With the exception of today, she wore a black tailcoat and a tie in place of her knit vest.
She had informed her friends of her new schedule earlier this morning, but all she received in return were jeers and boos from them because they knew they wouldn't experience anything similar to what they had seen yesterday.
Silas stood beside the Dean's study. Waiting for Lady Lesso to come out of the room, tapping her feet along the floor before the door beside her had opened, revealing the older woman. Lady Lesso was wearing her usual attire, nothing new, really. But it didn't mean that she didn't look quite sharp in her clothes. To an onlooker's perspective, it would appear as though Lady Lesso and Silas were telepathic, as both women wore quite identical clothes today.
Heterochromic eyes met turquoise orbs bathed in sunlight, lingering a second longer before the one who bared different colored eyes spoke, breaking the silence between them. "Good morning, Lady Lesso." Silas greeted, propping herself off the wall before giving the redheaded Dean a small bow. And Lesso was right, Silas was back to normal today.
"Silas. Good morning, as well." She responded, a relieved exhale escaped her before nodding at the student. "What's your first class today?" The emerald-haired student asked as the two of them started walking.
"Second-years." Lesso answered, eyes kept forward, earning a nod from the taller student. The older woman mentioned that Silas would assist her during her classes with the higher years, but Silas wondered how was she going to assist Lesso.
"Today, you will be assisting me with demonstration, as well as giving them a few pointers like what you did yesterday with three of the second-years." The older woman spoke, as if giving her a heads-up. Silas had turned to look at Lady Lesso when she had mentioned the trio. "You saw that?" She questions, "Yes, I did. And you did well. You make a great leader." Lesso comments, the two of them approach a classroom and the older woman halts her footsteps, causing Silas to do the same. The emerald-haired student was already planning how she would handle the class, her deep thinking was cut off by Lady Lesso, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"You don't need to be nervous, Silas. You're more experienced and well-trained than them when it comes to your powers. I wouldn't have chosen you to assist me if you weren't." The latter remarked, a caring and encouraging tone present in her voice. Silas merely nodded at her words, feeling a bit more relaxed than before.
Now, Lady Lesso has had conversations with Silas before, and intriguing is an understatement when she talks to the first-year. Though, the side of Silas she interacts with wasn't the real Silas and this was evident cause of last night's mishap. Leonora knew that there was more to Silas, and she wants to be the first one to see it.
