FIREWORKS WENT OFF in Lesso's stomach as she took a sip of her wine before she placed her chalice back on the table. She and Silas haven't spoke properly to each other for two days since that night. The redhead had been distancing herself from the emerald-haired student.

Ever since that night, Silas wasn't present in helping her teach the higher years and instead was attending the regular classes, yes, even Uglification Class.

The morning after what had happened in the Clearing, Lady Lesso informed her of the change in her schedule. Silas knew that the redhead was avoiding her for a reason.

Students in the higher years found it strange, it was all so random, but then again, they couldn't have the heart to say anything about it since, well, it's Lady Lesso they would be up against.

The emerald-haired student knew the Dean's reasoning for this and if she had to guess, she probably felt the same as Lady Lesso.

The redhead was full of emotions after what had happened in the Clearing that night, she couldn't get enough of the overhwhelming amount of butterflies she felt during the kiss, but after, that's when it all hit her like a charging rhinoceros.

Leonora felt scared, worried, and confused all at once. She felt fear because she had betrayed her beloved Rafal, her past with the former dean really took a toll on her. Her worry came from the fact that she was feeling things for Silas, things that she had once felt for Rafal and she was worried that Rafal might resent her for feeling like that towards her student. Those feelings she felt for Silas were so strong that it scared her.

But made her confused, she feels things for Silas but Leonora still has Rafal in her heart. He showed her feelings, those feelings that were so powerful, she read even about the greatest things and what they could lead to. But Rafal also showed her that even the worst of things can happen to you by having those feelings.

It scared her because she might get hurt again, so she pushed Silas away. She shut her out. Lesso couldn't wrap her head around what happened that night.

It was wrong.

But it felt oh-so-right.

Lesso's eyes scanned the dining hall, seeing the students engrossed in conversation at their tables, only for them to land on a patch of emerald hair.

Silas.

She looked...tired. She looked a lot like how she was when she first got here. Quiet and reserved. Silas was currently alone on a separate table as her friends, the other four were conversing with Sophie. Silas' head was looking down as her slender fingers tapped the top of her skull rhythmically, her eyes were focused on a book. She looked occupied and Leonora thought she was doing fine.

Unbeknownst to Leonora, the girl was worried about her.

As Lady Lesso sat back in her chair while the third-years were doing their reading, her eyes lingered on the wall by the windows. That's where Silas would always stand whenever she took the reins in the lessons, the emerald-haired student would be on standby and would be prepared with the demonstrations afterwards.

The image of Silas leaning on the wall was still in her head, whilst she would discuss something, she reminisced the very few split-seconds where her eyes would meet the student's gaze. Exchanging small smiles during the class, and unbeknownst to Silas, Lesso would sometimes steal glances at her whenever it was her turn to take over.
