SILAS WALKED THROUGH the dining hall, she emanated confidence and power as she made a beeline for their table. Something was different with Silas, and this was apparent since everyone in the dining hall stopped to look at her.Her hair was different.
(Maybe something like this, idk if y'all like it, I just thought it would be fitting and I think this is what Silas would have as an undercut)
It was shorter and it was much more attractive. Last night, Silas gave herself a haircut since she didn't get what she wanted in the Doom Room and she was finally able to put a stop to all the torture her hair had been giving her since the first day she arrived. Silas had decided on an undercut, a hairstyle she had herself a few years ago.
She remembered how much attention it got and well, she seemed to realize it now once Silas had seated herself with her friends, seeing the surprised looks on their faces made her raise an eyebrow.
"What?" She tilts her head at them.
"Y-your hair." Hort was the first to reply, stuttering at his friend.
"Yes. What about it?"
"It's different." Hort was quick to move, scurrying next to Silas to try and touch her hair. "Don't touch it." The taller girl used her telekinesis on him, halting his hand before letting it go back to his side. Hester, Anadil, and Dot cackles at the boy, watching the interaction.
Whilst she engaged in conversation with her friends, a pair of eyes from a separate dining table were stuck on Silas, the owner of those turquoise orbs in question being the Dean of Evil, Lady Lesso. The way Silas looked today stood out to her, out of the many ensembles the student sported, today's ensemble seemed to be the one to send her heart reeling.
Usual black pants, black shoes, but Silas was wearing a silk long-sleeved shirt that was black as well, her sleeves were rolled up to her elbows.
She had seen a lot of beautiful things in her life, but Silas in an undercut might be the most beautiful sight she had ever laid her eyes on.
"Ooh, Silas did something new with her hair, don't you think?" Dovey's beaming voice broke her out of her thoughts. "She did." Lesso replied softly, never taking her eyes off of the emerald-haired student.
"And don't worry about what happened yesterday, I already fixed it." She finally turns to look at Clarissa as if she knew the Ever Dean beside her was going to bring it up.
Dovey seemed to notice where Lesso's eyes were stuck before, being aware of the glint the redhead had in her eyes before she took her eyes off of Silas.
Whilst Silas made a beeline for the tray of blueberry muffins, she couldn't help but think back on the green apple that was on her bedside table. Said fruit was given to her by Lady Lesso last night, and Silas had planned to eat it on her free period.
