Ugh, this sucks I hate when this season comes around and now that Jack has his pooka form, it's driving me nuts. I'm both happy and resentful of the form. Resentful mostly because it's triggered a long dormant need to mount a partner and I'm not going to put Jack through that unless he's ready. I don't want to force myself on him especially sense he's healing and likely doesn't want to do 'it'. As far as I know this could be his first time and I'm not gentle when it comes to this season.

I don't think I could stop myself when I start which would cause unnecessary injury to Jack. Maybe sending him to one of the others would be better for him while I deal with this that way he is safe and wouldn't get hurt.

*Bunnymund's P.O.V.*

As I looked towards Jack I could tell he was having a bit of a fitful sleep and I partially thought it was my fault. However, when I got closer, I could tell his injuries were bugging him again. Relizing this, I got up as carefully as I could to grab out the treatment kit North had sent which also had dreamsand from Sandy in case Pitch tried anything to get to Jack. Luckily Sandy's dreamsand was at work as I could see a familiar scene playing above Jack's head that involved him and what appeared to be a little girl skating. In my mind my thoughts were

At least he's having a good dream while dealing with the pain. I will have to thank Sandy later. I hate seeing Jack hurt after what's gone on. Back in the sleigh when we were fighting Pitch's mares, my shout of concern was genuine, which stunned me at the time but, the kid had gotten himself into my heart just like the others. Despite our battles, I did care for North and the success of his holiday even if it was a constant battle. The day North doesn't initiate it would be a very concerning day.

I really didn't want to wake Jack but, I had to so he didn't freak out or feel unsafe so I very gently touched his shoulder and he stirred. When I saw he was a little more awake I had told him that I had just wanted to let him know that I was going to work on his injuries. Jack sleepily responded, saying, "okay Bunny, you can go ahead and thank you ahead of time"

Jack looked exhausted and was already dozing off though he did shift to his true self which made sense and luckily his hoodie and pants were on though the clothing was damaged from the fire spirits were still there so Jack's injuries were seen through the tears.

I had to mentally tell myself to calm down as that familiar anger was back because as expected, the remaining injuries were inflamed and looked very painful. Seeing this, I grabbed out the antibacterial ointment with aloe included to combat the heat of the infected area and used my paw to rub it in gently. As expected Jack flinched but, soon relaxed which made it easier to continue treating his wounds and before long I was able to at least bandage his back as the burns on his front weren't nearly as bad as they were on his back and arms.

As I was focused on taking care of Jack's wounds I didn't feel the urge to claim him as my mate as my concern overpowered that urge. As I was focused on Jack one of the attackers had gotten close as Jack was tense however the warrior eggs did there job and got them out of my Warren without even being asked. Despite the eggs doing there job I have a feeling I'm going to have to increase protective measures.

Can't those fire jerks just leave Jack alone they already did enough to him and frankly I want to have payback However that would be frowned on amoung the others and Jack Despite being the one on the receiving end didn't have the heart to hurt other seasonal spirits intentionally and would get angered if I hurt them badly. What he doesn't know is every spirit has a breaking point and Jack is getting dangerously close to it.

As I finished up and layed him back down I proceeded to put the care kit away before focusing my magic from the main energy source of my warren I had increased the safety of the Warren making sure to let it know not to attack the other guardians and then using messager eggs sent out the notice to the three kingdoms the others ruled. I'm not going to go down without a fight and I will protect my future partner from anymore pain if I can avoid it.
