Jack's P.O.V

When I woke up the first thing that I relized was that I was in a slush bath with swim trunks on underneath the slush and the second thing I became aware of was Bunnymund's paw on my head feeling for a fever followed by a relived sigh both from relizing the fever had gone down and the fact he relized that I was awake before saying "Hey frostbite how are you feeling? You gave us quite the scare on the way here. Your fever got really bad mate"

Hearing him say that had stunned me mainly because I hadn't realized I had a fever in the first place though for the time being I knew I had to answer his question so I spoke saying "I'm feeling ok just a bit confused on why I'm topless with swim shorts on. Im guessing it was to help cool me off a bit faster from the fever though I hope tooth wasn't around when it was taken off. I don't think she wants to see me shirtless and she already fawns over my teeth as well as my hair though when she runs her hand through it I admit it feels nice and something about her occasionally running her hand through it brings a very faint memory of my mom and sister up doing the same thing when I was done sheparding our livestock for the day when I was Jack Overland Frost instead of just Jack Frost.

Bunnymund's ears had gone down a bit when I said that however he sighed and then switched the subject rather upruptly and explained that he was the one to remove my shirt when we had arrived at north's place and that toothiana hadn't seen as she was flitting around in worry so North and Sandy had led her to a different area to help calm her.

Aster then explained that after he had carefully removed the hoodie and the shirt underneath he had been met with rather bad gashes that had been bleeding at the time and explained I hadn't noticed because I had been running on adrenaline during the fight and my pookan form had made it easier for me to bear the pain of the injuries. From there he had explained that he had cleaned the wounds with luke warm water and then covered the gashes with his stock of herbal ointment from his reserve in his bag and had the yetis draw the slush bath to further help me with recovering.

After he explained things it started to make sense on why I hadn't realized just how badly I had been injured under the hoodie. Even if I wouldn't of had the pookan form I would still probably not have noticed the severety of the injuries. Being alive three-hundred or so years had made it really easy to ignore injuries for several hours or even days and even then they were simply considered a bit of a nuisance by that point.

As if Aster could tell what I was thinking he had walked back over from the table he had been leaning against then bonked me very lightly on the head with a mixed expression of slight anger but, also an upset look as he and the others knew that those years of them not acknowledging him much would take a long time to repair. I went to tell him that I had put most of that under the bridge however when I saw just how upset Aster was about the whole thing I quickly decided it would not be wise to bring that subject up right now. No reason to add salt to a already open wound metaphorically speaking though on a completely different note I didn't fully know where about I was in North's place as the tell tale sugar cookie scent was very strong in this area so I assumed it was near the kitchen for the time being.

Outside the windows of the room I was currently in I could hear wind's worried call trying to get to me a bit before Aster picked up on it and walked over to crack the window open to allow wind inside. Soon enough wind had brought a small torrent of more snow in with her and put it in the tub which in turn refueled the coldness of it before ruffling my hair and speaking in only a language me and her could understand before she circled around Aster causing his fur to fluff up before she went out the way she came and shut the window in her wake.

When I looked back to Aster he looked very confused and so I decided to explain that it was wind's way of thanking him for getting me to a safe place as she was unable to get near when I was with the summer spirits. "Wind's presence would of only made things worse as the flames would have been intensified and she didn't want her actions to hurt me more and she said that I needed to stay down for the time being as I was safest with you guys while I recover. The final thing she said was that she was very grateful to you and the others for helping me fight against those spirits as they would of very likely taken me away again if we would of failed and would of continued hurting me for fun until they decided to kill me off when they were done with me."

When I was done explaining what I and wind were talking about Aster's expression had a almost protective nature to it though as soon as it was there it was gone again and a sigh escaped Aster which was a bit confusing to me until I relized someone was outside of the room and I had recognized the sound of a familiar grumble on the other end of the door. Soon after Aster walked over and greeted the yeti on the other side saying "make a little more sound next time Phil I thought you were a fire spirit wanting to settle the score or one of you know who's fearlings." A series of grunts was Phil's answer before he handed Aster something in a bag and left looking rather cranky for being accused of being a bad guy.

Soon enough Aster returned and asked if I was ready to get out of the slush and get dressed as north had made some food for everyone and had sent Phil with a set of pajamas that I could wear until my clothes were washed and repaired and though spirits really didn't need to eat much I had nodded and was handed a towel to dry off with. After about five minutes I was ready to go and was dressed though Aster had to help with support as my ankle was pretty bruised from one of the fire spirit's pets however the thing that had gripped my ankle could be considered more a beast then a pet but I will bring it up when the time was right and right now wasn't that time. All I knew was the guardians were going to be potentially busy again very soon especially if this thing got free. The creature I had witnessed first hand was a giant fire chimera.
