Unpredictable

Chapter 7

Karma's POV*
We were almost in, only 10 minutes out, and I was getting more and more anxious. I was hoping it wouldn't be awkward when I saw Calum, but how could it not be when all my thoughts keep wandering to me at the concert running into his arms. I was so excited, and relieved, but overwhelmingly nervous all at the same time. Would we be a fairytale couple, keep being best friends, or stop being friends all together? My heart hurt at just the thought of Calum and I not being friends. But I knew regardless of what would happen, I'd see his face. And I couldn't wait.

Kate's POV*
As we pulled into the motel parking lot, I started laughing. Michael looked over at me. "I thought you were a rockstar?" I mumbled out chuckling. He smiled and grabbed my hand. "Rockstars can stay in motels." I laughed hysterically, and he ran around the car to open the door for me , lending out his hand. I shook my head, still laughing, while barely getting out, "Well aren't you a prince?" He grabbed my hand again. I smiled brightly and ran up to the motel door, dragging him behind me. He laughed, and stopped at the front desk. A woman turned around and smiled. She asked kindly, "Yes Mr. Clifford?" He tried not to chuckle at being called mister, and he looked so cute I beamed. He smiled, looking at me, and then back to the lady. "I'd like an extra room key please. Actually an extra 3." She smiled, pinning back her gray hairs. "Of course, Mr. Clifford!" He laughed. "You can call me Michael." She gave a reassuring smile at him and looked over to me. She said, "If they get any more boys up there!! I swear, my maids can already barely handle the stink!" I threw my head back laughing. Mikey looked somewhat embarrassed. She grabbed my hands, and said, "God bless you child." We both laughed that time. And I smiled and ran up with Mikey to the room. He put his key card in, and opened the door. The lady wasn't kidding about the smell. I looked up to three boys, one doing a piggyback on top of another, and the third running around screaming, "I am the Spider!" with a cape on in his boxers. I couldn't stop laughing! I turned towards Michael. "Michael, who are they?" Michael shrugged, "Don't know I've never seen them before." I raised my eyebrows, fear suddenly shooting through me. What if it was. Did they find me? No it couldn't be them. I tensed up. Michael frowned, grasping both my hands. "No, no, Kate, I was just kidding. These are my band mates." I laughed and sighed with relief. By that time they had all stopped doing whatever the heck it was they were doing, and walked over towards me. The one in his boxers and a super hero cape came running up to me. "So I guess you're the spider??" He laughed, with deep dimples caving into his cheeks. "No m'lady! I'm Ashton and this is your steed!" He pointed over to the one who had been giving piggy back rides, and I excitedly ran towards him, hopping onto his back. The dark haired boy turned his head, smiling at me. "Hi. I'm Calum." I laughed at his awkwardness, and said, "Hi. I'm Kate." He chuckled and asked, "So I'm your 'steed' ?" I laughed. "Why yes, according to Ash." He smiled and said, "Well, buckle up and enjoy the ride!" After we ran around the room a few more times, he knocked me off onto the bed, and we both collapsed from laughing. Once I had finally finished laughing, I just laid there on the bed smiling. Suddenly a tall blonde haired boy stood over me extending his hand. I shook it goofily, and he said, "Nice to meet you. I'm Robert Lucas." I grinned, "I'm Olivia Kate." Ash screamed from nowhere, "HA HER INITIALS ARE OK!" I laughed hysterically, and "Robert Lucas" smirked, laying down beside me, facing only his head towards me . "So tell me Olivia Kate, why did you choose this," he paused pointing to Micheal, "goofball as a companion?" I smiled. "Well, I didn't really choose him." He raised his eyebrows in mock terror. "HE DIDNT RAPE YOU DID HE?!" I burst out laughing. "No, no, he actually saved me." By that time all the boys had huddled around me on the bed listening to the story of how I'd met Michael, and I laughed at how all their eyes grew another inch. Michael smiled over at me. He nuzzled his face against my cheek. A chorus of awwwws was heard from the group, and we all smiled, deciding to have a victory nap, and I chuckled at how fast all the boys fell asleep
