As you leaned against the kitchen island, a pair of arms sneaked around your waist from behind, a face getting buried in the crook of your neck.

"Good morning" your husband's morning voice said as he left kisses on your neck. "Still high on Kookaine?" he asked and you merely shook your head while blushing.

"Thank you for last night" he said and you could feel the smirk on his face.

"Pervert" you said and slapped his arm that was around your waist.

"Me? You were not calling me a pervert last night when I-"

"Jungkookie," the little girl's voice from the living room cut off Jungkook's words.

Pecking your cheek, Jungkook unwrapped his arms from your waist as Jia walked inside the kitchen.

"What were you doing?" she asked with eyebrows squinted, staring at Jungkook who just shrugged his shoulders and walked away, grabbing his chocolate milk from the kitchen counter and starting to drink it.

Huffing cutely, Jia turned to you.

"I'm sleepy," the seven year old pouted and walked to you, hugging your legs as she wrapped her tiny arms around your knees.

"Good morning, sweetie" you said before picking her up in your arms and kissing her head.

"Jungkookie is weird" she said while pointing at Jungkook and you chuckled.

"I'm not the one who's weird. And I've told you to call me appa, not Jungkookie" your husband said while placing aside the empty glass he had in his hand.

"You're Jungkookie and you have a coconut head. That's why I'm loved more. Not you" Jia said and stuck out her tongue at Jungkook whose mouth parted in disbelief.

"No! Y/n loves me more!" he whined before walking forward and hugging you. "Baby, tell her that we celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary yesterday, and you love me more. We lost our first kiss to each other!" he yelled, pouting afterwards.

"Can you-" your words were cut off by Jia.

"No! I'm the most loved," she said.

"No! It's me" Jungkook said again.

"Me" Jia replied.

And then went on a loop of 'Me's until you smacked the back of Jungkook's head, making him shut up.

"Go and get ready for work" you said and he bunny glared at your daughter, slowly walking away.

Huffing at Jungkook once again, Jia buried her face in your neck as you started walking to her bedroom to get her ready for school.

I guess nothing is the same anymore. You see it.

Your family wasn't the same anymore, and it was as if something inside you grew cold.

It all happened so suddenly that you thought you were dreaming. What was supposed to be a memorable family dinner, turned out to be your worst nightmare becoming the reality.

Everything started to move in slow motion. A vehicle came up the hill in the opposite direction, facing your car but in its own lane. With vehicles parked on both sides of the road, this meant that there was just a narrow passage area for both vehicles to pass through.
