"Hey, kid. If you want to play with guns, don't do it here." Said the old man with round glasses at the corner, picking some stuff to buy. This made Steve bite his lower lip in shame.

The seventh Hargreeves immediately stopped Steve by proceeding. "Don't pull the trigger, mister. Let us explain. But we have to settle this in a place where only the nine of us are there." Vanya stood up for the siblings along with the girl and Steve even bestowed them a furious stare because he could not witness a single strand of trust he can place between these people who held the teenager. He soon unhurriedly hid the gun in his pockets as the Buckley girl motioned to him to calm his nerves.

Harrington sighed in a forced manner. "Fine." As soon as the lad stated the word, they followed along outside the store.

The mulled lad crossed his arms in annoyance and raised an eyebrow. Robin was there beside him, confused about the current situation they are facing. Suddenly, Five cleared his throat as a sign of commencement to clear up the awkwardness that circulates them. "So..."

"Eleven is in danger that's why we took the responsibility to keep her for a while." The fifth Hargreeves stated.

"Oh, come on. Just tell me you're criminals or abductors and shit." The short-haired woman hushed him after saying those words. "Steve, you have to calm down! I'm sorry, guys. He has huge trust issues. Don't mind this dingus." She flashed a smile to them and received an eye roll from the lad. This made Diego watch them with his expression in an irritated manner, making him bring out his knives to throw at the Harrington.

"One more word against us and I'll throw these at that guy."

Allison abruptly commanded everyone to silence themselves and focus on the case they have to discuss. This is the problem, they would argue first before settling an issue as that results in slow progress. When her voice occupied the whole road, a forced tranquility entered.

"I will be the one to speak first. No one talks if I am not finished." They nodded in response to Five as the sun's heat already has been sweating them up.

"First of all, we are criminals. We are here to help you and Eleven to be safe around the people who are currently plotting catastrophes against you. Eleven should be held captive or what if we have bad intentions for her, but honestly have none? All of us gathered around here are risking our lives, however, this girl is the prey of the danger."

Those arms being crossed pulled away after hearing everything from Five and the mullet lad even went closer to the schoolboy. Everything he heard is unbelievable. It seems like none of it is real. This left Harrington speechless reaction when he knew they have to combat another dilemma once more. Ever since the year 1982 came, he never tasted the continuous bliss in his life anymore.

However, he has to confirm something significant. "Prove it if you're saying the truth." Steve tossed them a serious stare as those eyebrows almost closed their distance in between.

"WHAT?"

"I will call the police or you're gonna tell me the truth." He started with his low voice as he witnessed the anxiousness revealed on their faces. They have no evidence to show now. These siblings are in total defeat after hearing those blackmail words from Steve. The lad only desires to protect themselves, at the same time to make assurance they aren't being outsmarted by the Hargeeves by deceiving both.

There is a tense stillness that surrounded them as the mullet lad proceeded to draw an indication, he doesn't believe these siblings in those brown eyes. Along with his gestures of him, he is prepared once more to withdraw the gun.

"Steve." A soft voice awakened his suspicious thoughts when it filled his hearing. The voice that he needed to hear for a long time now.

Harrington sighed and felt the sincerity in Eleven's voice. "All right. I will do this for you. But still, you all weird shits have to prove to me you aren't messing around. Or else, this gun I have will burst your brains out in no time." The leaves from the trees around the street started to fall as the automobiles proceeds to pass by them. There is one thing these people require to accomplish. To let Eleven finally reunite with her beloved friends and family and team up together as one along with the Hargreeves siblings.

"We can end this. By pulling ourselves together. But we have to tell the others first." The mulled lad signaled them to hop in the car to head to the Wheeler's basement. "THIS HAS TO BE THE LAST DILEMMA. I'M SICK OF FIGHTING PEOPLE." The young Harrington screamed at the top of his lungs to discard the negativity that occupied every inch of him.

"You, the guy with a mullet haircut. You have a different breed."

"Shut up."
