The Jedi looked around them, and Anakin noticed something was off about this kidnapping.

"Too many droids here for them to be renegades, I sense Count Dooku's hand in this, Let's find Jabba's son and get outta here," Anakin says, feeling suspicious.

"No problem. The hard part's over," Ahsoka simply put up.

"I wish you wouldn't say that," Sérena glanced at her best friend, and walked in the monastery. Both Sérena and Ahsoka shivered as they entered what seems to be an abandoned monastery, it was dark, damp and cold.

"I don't like this place, It gives me the creeps," Captain Rex commented, Sérena studied every corner of the monastery.

"This looks like one of those B'omarr monk monasteries that I read about in my studies at the Temple," Ahsoka voiced Sérena's thoughts.

"Yeah, but our studies didn't say these monasteries were abandoned," Sérena reminded her friend.

"Smugglers take these monasteries over and turn them into their own personal retreats," Anakin enlightened the two confused Padawans.

"And the monks just let them?" That explanation got Ahsoka puzzled.

"Smugglers usually get what they want, one way or another," Anakin added.

"Well it means either the smugglers evict the monks, or kill them"

Sérena thought.

The group heard a shriek of sound coming towards them and got alarmed, Anakin with reflex, ignited his lightsaber and the clone troopers pointed their headlights on the source of the sound, it turns out it was a servant droid.

"Good guy or bad guy, Master?" Ahsoka asked Anakin.

"Who are you?" Anakin asked, brandishing his lightsaber towards the droid.

"Merely the humble caretaker, O mighty sir, You have liberated me from those dreadful battle bots, I am most thankful," The droid spoke.

"Where is the Hutt?" Anakin went straight to the point.

"The battle bots kept their prisoners on the detention level, I must warn you it is very dangerous down there, my friend," the droid said, then it turned to Ahsoka "Not a place for a servant girl," the caretaker droid said again, Ahsoka felt humiliated.

"Do servant girls carry these?!" She ignited her lightsaber and pointed it at the droid

"I am a Jedi Knight..." Ahsoka gritted her teeth, Anakin and Sérena weren't pleased with how Ahsoka reacted and stared at her.

"Or soon will be," Ahsoka realized her friends were staring and turned off her lightsaber.

"A thousand apologies, young one," the caretaker droid apologized, Ahsoka didn't say a word and walked past that droid, Sérena followed close behind.

"Captain, we'll get the Hutt, Stay here and keep your eyes open," Anakin said, and caught up with the girls.

"Copy that, sir" Rex replied.

Little did they know, Asajj Ventress was there, plotting behind the kidnapping, the evil assassin entered a room filled with battle droids and turned on her holoprojector to contact her Master.

"They have taken the monastery, Master, Skywalker is here, He's on his way to rescue the Hutt," She said viciously.

"Well, done, Ventress, All is going according to plan," Count Dooku praised his apprentice.

"I could easily take them now," Ventress boasted.

"Patience, Collect the data I need, You will get your chance at revenge soon enough," Dooku instructed.
