Hard-pressed Jedi and their valiant clone troopers have thwarted an insidious Separatist plot to plant bombs loaded with the deadly blue shadow virus in key Republic systems. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have captured the vile scientist behind the nefarious scheme, Dr. Nuvo Vindi. Now the Jedi prepare to transport Vindi to the Republic capital for trial....

The Jedi masters escorted Dr. Vindi onto the transport shuttle. The nefarious doctor was in handcuffs, prepared to face judgment for his war crimes.

"That was close," Anakin said as he stopped on the ship's ramp and turned to Obi-Wan.

"If that virus had escaped, everyone on Naboo would be dead now," He continued. The older Jedi folded his arms together.

"Oh, well. Just another boring day saving the universe," He replied, sounding sarcastic and nonchalant.

"All right, let's take this sleemo back to Theed so we can help Padmé and the girls clean up down there," Anakin huffed.

Meanwhile, in the underground lab, Padmé, the Padawans, and the Clones conducted another check to ensure all bombs and the virus had been neutralized and secured. The clones inspected the botanical bay with its peculiar blue plants, while Padmé and Jar Jar supervised and conversed. During the inspection, one of the bomb squad members discovered an empty bomb casing.

"Senator, you should see this," He called Padmé.

"It's one of the virus bombs," He held it out for her to see.

"It looks like the chamber that holds the virus is missing," Padmé noticed the missing virus vial.

"That droid must have taken it," The trooper concluded.

"Sound the alarm," Padmé issued an order immediately.

An alarm blared throughout the underground facility, serving as both a signal and a warning for all Republic forces to remain vigilant regarding the missing virus.

"How could droids have gotten ahold of the virus containers?" said one of the two rookie troopers patrolling the hallways.

"I don't know, but I don't want to be around when they set it off," The other replied.

Unbeknownst to them, Dr. Vindi's assistant droid lurked nearby, clutching the missing virus. As they entered the bomb room for another inspection, the droid stealthily trailed behind them, slipping into the room unnoticed.

"We've already taken the virus containers out of these bombs," the first trooper said.

"We'll just have to check them again," the second one answered.

The Jedi generals had just received word about the missing virus. They regarded Dr. Vindi with even greater suspicion than before.

"The virus is liberated. You are doomed, young Jedi, along with the rest of the planet," Dr. Vindi proclaimed triumphantly.

The assistant droid swiftly placed the virus into one of the empty bomb casings in the bomb room. The two troopers immediately whipped their heads around, sensing something amiss.

"Hey, you!" The first trooper called it out.

But it was too late.

The droid triggered the bomb.

"Get away from there!" The other trooper shouted.

BOOM!

The bomb detonated, releasing the Blue Shadow Virus into the air. The explosion once again rocked the swamp and reverberated throughout the entire facility.
