Chapter 12

Derek Shepherd

We finally got back to the hotel and the girls immediately wanted to go swimming including Meredith and they begged me so I finally gave in to go as well. "You're hot" Meredith smiles kissing me softly.

"You're hotter" I smirk looking at her in her bikini.

"Derek I told you not to rent out the whole entire hotel" she says softly.

"I don't want perverts here to look at you and your team" I say and she smiles.

"I really like you, did you know that?" she asks grabbing my hand leading me out to the pool.

"I really like you too" I chuckle.

"We should start with the hot tub and then go into the pool" she says as we walk into the pool area.

"Or maybe the pool and then the hot tub" I say as all the girls are in the hot tub.

"Good idea" she giggles kissing my lips softly.

I get into the pool and it's a little cold but I don't mind it, Meredith on the other hand does. "Derek how can you just go in" she says standing in the step that only covers her feet with water.

"It's not that bad" I chuckle.

"It is" she argues.

I walk up to her and hold my hand out for her to take. She looks at me for a second before slowly taking it. I smile and pull her into the pool making her yell at me. All the girls look over at us and Meredith comes up from the water and slaps me making me laugh at her.

"You're an asshole" she says.

"Oh come on, the water is better now isn't it?" I smile at at her and hold her.

"I'm still mad at you but you feel nice so I'm not going to pull away" she whispers and wraps her arms around me.

We stay there for a bit before I ask if she finally wants to swim. She gives in and I kiss her head before we actually start to swim.

The girls all jump in splashing us making Meredith laugh. I grab Meredith and put her on my shoulders. "Woah, Derek I swear if you throw me off of you" she says and I smirk before flipping her off my back straight up and into the water.

"I hate you!" she yells jumping on my back.

"Earlier you were saying how much you really like me" I say.

"Well now I hate you" she says crossing her arms with a pout.

I pick her up bridal style and carry her out of the pool making her cold. I bring us to the hot tub and sit down with her on my lap.

She smiles softly and lays her head on my shoulder hiding her face in my neck as I wrap my arms around her. "How are you so cuddly and tired you slept for the last three hours of the trip" I say kissing her head softly.

"You're like a cuddly bear, you're my Derbear" she smiles.

"Your Derbear?" I question.

"Yeah" she nods.

"Okay then" I chuckle.

"And tonight we are going to cuddle after you get what we both have been so patient for" she says her hands trailing down my chest.

"We can do that" I nod.

"Good" she smiles kissing my cheek and we just sit in the hot tub in each others embrace.
