It was the next day, Wednesday was called to Headmaster Weems office. Mayhem was utterly confused by Wednesday story, Rowan, one of Xaviers roommates tried to kill her and a mysterious monster saved her.

Now the crazy killer monster saving Addams, Mayhem believed. But that Wimpy Rowan had the mind strength to choke Addams that was hard to believe.

After spending some time with Xavier last night, Mayhem found herself enjoying being the cause of his smile. His presence becoming quite comfortable.

She was glad that Wednesday decided to stay, Mayhem was growing quite close with Nevermore, or at least it's students.

Currently Mayhem was assisting Enid with her painting the row boat for the Poe Cup Tournament.

"Ladies, come on! Let's work on those teeth. More scowl. This kitty is taking no prisoners."

"Enid, this energy love it, but no." Mayhem smiled as Yoko laughed in total agreement.

"If Bianca Barclay wins again this year, I will literally scratch my own eyes out!" Enid yells in frustration.

"I would pay money to see that." Wednesday scaring Yoko and the other vampire working on the boat.

"Addams you're back!"

"Howdy, roomie! I'm so glad you guys decided to stay." Enid smiled as Mayhem stood up.

"So... why the change of heart, Addams?" Mayhem asked.

"I refuse to play the role of a pawn in someone else's corrupt game."

"You mean Rowan?" Enid asked realizing what Wednesday meant.

"She witnessed his murder, Enid." Mayhem defended.

"It's just, we all saw him this morning. Very much, like, not dead."

"I know. Which leads me to believe I've been losing my mind. It's not nearly as fun as I had anticipated. You're Nevermore's gossip queen. What's Rowan's story?"

"Other than being a weird loner... Uh...No offense." Enid said,

"None taken."

"Xavier Thorpe is one of his roommate." Enid said catching both Wednesday and Mayhem's attention.

"Addams, No-"

"You're close with Thorpe. Speak with him, see what he knows." Wednesday says before walking away.

"Addams! Wait!" Mayhem yelled running after her.

"Mayhem are you joining any clubs?"

"What- Addams what are you talking about, why would i join a club?"

"You like archery. We should join." Wednesday explained monotonously.

"What Addams why are we joining a club?" Mayhem asked completely lost.
"Headmaster Weems needs to believe that I'm invested in this school. Joining a club is best."

"Yes but why archery, you haven't used a bow since Pugsley 5th birthday." Mayhem said, shuddering at the memory.

" I just figured you might enjoy it, considering." Wednesday said before walking away, leaving Mayhem utterly confused.

" Is this why you signed us up for Archery?" Mayhem asked as the two walked up to the Archery field where Xavier was practicing.
"We need intel. Xavier has intel." Wednesday replied before walking close to Xavier.
"Huh. You actually showed up. Ever shot a bow and arrow before?" Xavier said, smiling at Mayhem.
"I've dabbled." Mayhem replied.
"It's simple. Square stance. Load the arrow like this, yellow side out. Three fingers. Pull back and... let it fly. Any questions?" Xavier explained as he lowered his bow.
"When's the last time you saw your roommate Rowan?" Wednesday asked.

"Wow, real subtle Addams." Mayhem muttered as she noticed Xavier's confusion.
"You mean the one that was killed by a monster? The Harvest Festival. I haven't talked to him since. But his side of the room was all packed this morning. Rowan's always been a little off, but, uh, the last couple weeks he's been more erratic. You know, telekinesis can mess with your head, you know. He's... It started to freak me out." Xavier recalled, shuttering at the memory.
"Well since we're all asking questions. Addams, what's the deal with you and Tyler?" Mayhem said turning her attention to the pale raven-haired girl.
"There is no deal. He was doing me a favor driving us out of town." Wednesday explained.
"Yeah, word of advice. Steer clear." Xavier commented.

"Why? Because he's a normie?" Wednesday asked.
"Tyler and his friends are jerks. They can't stand that this school's propping up their Podunk town."
"Says the boy whose life was served on a silver platter." Wednesday replies, slightly catching Mayhem off guard. Usually Addams was one to brush of a comment, but it seems she's protective of Tyler.
"Hey, girls in glass houses..."
"Should throw bigger stones. At least I'm not an elitist snob." Wednesday said grabbing Xaviers bow and perfectly shooting the center of the target.
"Hey! Might I mention that I am daughter of an Elitist snob." Mayhem said snatching the Bow away from Addams.
"Don't you another club to join?" Mayhem asked, glaring at Addams.
" I do. I shall find you later." Wednesday said before heading off.
"Addams can be quite forward. Sorry." Mayhem said as she prepared the bow.
"Some people never change." Xavier said, grabbing another arrow and shooting it.
"You suck." Mayhem commented, as the arrowing hit the edge of the target.
"Sorry not of all of us can be incredibly talented."
"Cute. Your issue is your posture. You have to straighten your back, and expand your arms." Mayhem explained, gently moving Xaviers arm into the correct position.
"Then shoot."
Xavier did as Mayhem commanded, shooting the arrow perfectly in the center.
"So, will you be joining the archery club?" Xavier asked.
"It definitely has my attention." Mayhem smirked.

Mayhem was walking to class alongside Enid. The redhead hadn't been to find Addams before class, she figured Wednesday was out searching for clues.
As her and Enid walked into class she noticed Bianca was staring at Wednesday.
"I know Wednesday's really pretty but it's kind of obvious you're staring." Mayhem said catching Bianca's attention.
"Careful Mayhem, it seems Wednesday's trying to replace you." Bianca mocked, laughing with her friends as she went to her seat.
Mayhem walk over to Wednesday, grabbing her arm and pulling her away from the plant."I know you love the spooky look but you look utterly insane." Mayhem whispered as she sat Wednesday down at the nearest available seat.
"I sent Thing to follow Rowan but he lost him." Wednesday explained.
"Well...Let's recap after class okay? Now I have to find a seat." Mayhem before scouting the class for an open chair. Finally she noted one in the front of the class.
"This seat taken?" Mayhem asked, Xavier looked up from his drawing and smirked.
"Only for elitist snob."
Taking a seat Mayhem smiled.
Xavier slid his sketchbook to the middle of the table, before hovering his hand over his latest sketch. Soon the artwork came to life, the spider jumped out of the page and crawled over the table.
"I doubt Dugrey is impressed by your tricks, Mr. Thorpe."

Xavier looked up at Mayhem, "Admit it, you're a little impressed."
Mayhem smirked, the spider crawling onto her hand. "I'm intrigued."
Xavier smiled as he made the spider disappear.
"Seems I'm not the only incredibly talented student here at Nevermore." Mayhem whispered as Thornhill began the class.
"I am thrilled to have you join me on our journey into the world of carnivorous plants. Now... who can tell us the name of this beauty?" Bianca raised her hand, but Addams simply told the answer. "Dendrophylax lindenii.""Otherwise known as the ghost orchid." Bianca added, glaring at Wednesday."First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854." Wednesday finished, gaining praise from Thornhill.
"Very good, Wednesday. You may have competition for first chair, Bianca."
"Oh boy." Mayhem sighed, as she laid her head on the desk.
This is gonna be a long class. She thought to herself.
