After hours of walking in the forest, Mayhem and Eugene finally camped near the cave.

Eugene filled Mayhem in on everything and Wednesdays conspiracies.

"Do you have food? I'm starving." Mayhem mumbled as she laid against a tree.

Eugene took of his backpack, and searched for a moment before passing Mayhem a jar of honey.

" I don't know who you confuse me for, but I'm not Winnie the Pooh, I need food not honey."

"Then you obviously haven't had it with cheese." Eugene said, pulling out a block of cheese.

"My, My, you are an odd man." Mayhem said as she grabbed the cheese.

Mayhem began to open the cheese while Eugene recorded their journey.

"Eugene Ottinger. 2100 hours. No movement at the cave. No sign of the target. Although... I just heard a rare club-horned grasshopper." Eugene stated as she stared at the bug near-bye.

"Why are you so into bugs?" Mayhem asked

"They're interesting, everyone sees them as the same thing yet, they're all so different. You just have to find the get to know them."

"You relate to the bugs?"

"I guess so. They're always seen but no one cares." Eugene sadly mumbled.

"Not true. Addams never cares for anyone unless they're special." Mayhem smiled, Eugene smiled back.

Meanwhile in Nevermore Academy, Xavier downed another Yeti-tini, as he watched the door, hoping for a red headed girl to appear

"Do me a favor." Xavier began, capturing Bianca's attention.

"Take off your amulet and make me forget about her." Xavier said, his eyes never leaving the entrance.

"I can't believe you'd ask me to do that." Bianca said annoyed.

"You said no strings. You broke up with me because you thought I was manipulating you with my siren song. Now you want me to use it to help you get over another girl?"

Bianca left the table frustrated but Xavier couldn't care, his mind was plagued with thoughts of Mayhem.

Since he yelled at her, he couldn't help but feel guilty. Had he been too harsh? What does he care? It's not like she cared, she always acted like everything didn't matter.

Eugene and Mayhem were talking when a vehicle approached.

"Hush." Mayhem said as she quietly stood up, hiding from sight. She pushed Eugene behind her,  the two watching carefully as the person got out their car.

"Eugene Ottinger. 2242 hours. Potential suspect has arrived at location."

"Would you shut up, Bloody hell, they're gonna hear us." Mayhem whispered.

The two watched as a person arrived and walked into the cave. Noticing the flame, Mayhem stepped back only for Eugene to step forward hoping to get a look.

Before Mayhem could warn him a light blinded them both, then an explosion went off. In fear the two teens ran as the mysterious person got in their car and drove away.

"Eugene run!" Mayhem yelled, shoving him forward.

Snarls and growls could be heard all around them, Mayhem stayed behind Eugene looking back every minute.

"Pick it up Eugene!" Mayhem yelled as the growls grew closer.

Eugene ran as fast as he could, he didn't dare to look back, just as Mayhem was about to yell, Eugene tripped.

"I can't find my glasses." He yelled, as he search the ground for his glasses.

"Mayhem grabbed his glasses and handed it to him, "Drop the bag and run." Mayhem said before shoving him away.

Mayhem stood her ground, the growls got louder and suddenly the monster appeared.

Using her powers she created whips of electric volts. She threw a bolt, only for the monster to consume her energy.

"What the bloody hell." Mayhem muttered as she stepped back.

Mayhem turned around and ran, faster than ever possible, soon she noticed Eugene waiting.

"Eugene run-"

The monster grabbed her by her neck, throwing her against a tree, using the bit of strength she had, she tased the creature, burning the creatures hand. The creatures eyes burned into hers, her energy seeming to gain strength,  till suddenly the monster drained her, only a few breathes of life remaining. It dropped her to the ground, before rushing off.

Mayhem fought to move but she couldn't, her final sight being the monster rushing to Eugene.
