It was the fourth time Wednesday tried holding a séances, every time it was a fail. Mayhem rested on Wednesday bed watching as the Addams girl focused.
Suddenly as the candles burned brighter a gust of wind blew out the candles as Enid opened the dorm door.
Wednesday lets out an annoyed sigh, as Enid realizes what she's done.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your... Uh, do I even want to know?" Enid asks as she noted Mayhem laying on Wednesday bed.
"Addams is reaching into the black maw of death to contact a relative."
"Seems very on brand for her." Enid replied.
"Been attempting to summon her, but she seems to be ignoring my entreaties." Wednesday explained.
"Oh, you thought about using one of my scented candles? The aroma of steak tartare is to die for." Enid suggest, causing Mayhem to perk up.
"You know Enid's got a point. It's a pretty freaking good smelling candle."
Suddenly a piece of paper was slid under the girls closed dorm door.
"Maybe Goody answered you after all." Enid said as Wednesday grabbed the paper.
"I doubt she communicates in magazine cutouts."
Mayhem walked over, taking the paper from Wednesday.
"Seems sketchy, let's go." Mayhem said grabbing her coat and leaving the door. A sinister grin on her face.

The three roommates walked up Joseph Crackstone building, Mayhem and Wednesday entered while Enid decided to stay behind.
Mayhem allowed Wednesday to walk ahead. She slowly backed away and walked into the shadows, finding Enid in the secret entrance the girls had found earlier that day.
Quickly the two girls took the cake out of the box, and awaited to hearing the rest of their friends yell a Happy Birthday.
After a couple of moments the girls heard the group singing Happy Birthday and rushed to light the candle before walking out of the darkness surprising Wednesday.
"Happy Birthday Addams." Mayhem smiled, knowing that the girl was unaware of their plan.
"I should have known you were behind this." Wednesday told Mayhem before turning to Thing.
"What part of "no party under the penalty of death" do you not understand?"
Xavier spoke out, "I thought my cake design was pretty inspired."
"The pink balloon was my little touch. Why don't you make a wish?" Enid smiled.
Before Wednesday was about to reply when she noticed writing on the wall.
"Wait, it's Latin. Fire will rain... when I rise." Wednesday said, catching many off guard.
"K, that's not really a wish." Enid said, as Wednesday went to touch the writing.
"Wait, we're never eating that cake, are we?" Ajax asked.
Realizing what was about to happen, Mayhem walked up behind Wednesday, waiting to catch the girl.
Once Wednesday touched the writing, her vision consumed her and she fell into Mayhem's arms. Mayhem gently laid Wednesday down, before turning to the rest of the party.
"She gonna be okay?" Enid asked as she helped Mayhem cut the cake.
"Yeah, she'll be fine, it's just a vision." Mayhem calmly replied as she handed Yoko a slice of cake.
"I'm gonna go give Ajax a slice of cake." Enid said, a slight blush on her face.
Mayhem smirked, causing Enid to rush away in embarrassment.
"Anyone missing a piece of cake?" Mayhem asked.
"I am." Xavier shyly said as he walked up to the girl.
The two hadn't spoken since Xavier yelled at her in the quad. Xavier felt extremely guilty for what he said, a part of him felt that if he had given her a chance to speak that day maybe she wouldn't have gone to the forest ergo she wouldn't have been attacked.
Mayhem softly smiled as she cut the boy a piece of cake.
"Listen- about what I said- Mayhem- I um"
"Xavier it's fine really. You were right, I asked you to the dance to save Addams ass. But that doesn't mean I didn't like the idea of going to the dance with you Xavier." Mayhem explained before leaving Xavier with his slice of cake.
After 5 minutes Wednesday awoke from her vision, she spent the rest of the night alongside Mayhem, noticing the subtle glances that Xavier sent Mayhem's way.

It was the next day, Wednesday was staring at the worked burned into the grass. Xavier noticed her alone and decided this would be the best moment to speak to her.
" In the crypt, you had another vision, didn't you? " Xavier asked.
"I didn't realize we were back on speaking terms." Wednesday retorts
"I showed up to your surprise party. I figured that would have been a hint."
"I figured it was a way to speak to Mayhem again. You know after the whole cold-hearted monster bit."
"Still think I'm the monster?"
"Haven't ruled it out."
Xavier rolled his eyes annoyed. If he wanted to get close to Mayhem he knew he had to be in the clear with Wednesday, as the Addams girl wasn't making that easy.
"When you change your mind and you want my help, you know where to find me." Xavier stated before walking away annoyed.
